"The recreation center has exceeded my expectations since it opened. The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained. The facilities are immaculate. However, there's a problem. The outdoor work-out area is for adults. There is a very large sign with very large words clearly stating that children are not allowed. Parents are blatantly ignoring the rules and bringing their young children to play on the work-out area like it's a playground. On any given afternoon, the area will be loaded with kids. It's frustrating for those of us adults who come here to get away from kids running around and screaming and cutting I'm front of you, and they are here anyway. The grounds' employees do nothing about it. Why does Navy Federal have the rules in place and signs displayed, if they're not going to enforce it? Parents: keep your kids off the workout area! It's not a playground."

"This park is so nice and it's such a valuable space for the community to enjoy. I brought our boys here to play and it was so nice to walk along the path around the pond and play in the field. The reason the recreational area gets a 4 out of 5 from me is because they do not have a playground yet. Our boys really enjoyed playing and running around in the grassy area near the pond and they made some friends there, but I wish they had a playground to play on. The other parent I was thinking with said she felt the same way."

"Real nice public park to open for everyone to use. It's nice to have something like this and for everyone to go. Hopefully Navy Federal maintain it's prestine and equipment. There's a lot of things that only for Adults and not so much for younger kids and toddlers. It's a nice place overall . I wouldn't give it a 5 star since it function for adults only and limited for kids. Nonetheless it's nice. Update: People here have broken every rules! So it's ok to bring whatever since everyone is bringing bikes, roller skates, inline skates, dogs on lawn, kids kicking rocks off the sides, people bringing dogs on the lawn, when it clearly says, bathroom litter everywhere. Soon this place will be like all parks in Escambia, dirty !"

"Wow. Navy Fed did amazingly on the development of this public space. Every detailed from the Pavillion to the workout area, benches, walking trail, basketball court, all well thought out. Looking forward to spending lots of outdoor time here. I hope the community keeps it clean and appreciates this spot! Well done, Navy Fed."

"Navy Federal Credit Union THANK YOU!! What an amazing park: soccer fields, softball, basketball, pickleball. Plus walking trails!! We went 45 minutes exploring. Pavillion with the cleanest restrooms in the middle, near the pond. Plus the yoga grass and kids play area. Quite a bit to do. Dogs welcome but on a leash. Hours 0600 am to 900 pm. Will be back for some more walking! and enjoying the scenery. Next visit to NFCU bank, will take a stroll! They even have a lightning warning system with lights."
