"This is a great Elementary school! Everyone from the principal and assistant principal, to the front officer and clinic staff, to the cafeteria and teachers... even the maintenance workers... all employees are always smiling and treat every child with kindness. My daughter has attended this school for the past 3 years now and has loved every minute of it. She's excited to go to school & it isn't a battle everyday to get her up and dressed, she gets home smiling telling us about her day, and goes to bed ready to go back the next day. She was attending another elementary school not far from Pleasant Grove (the one we are actually zoned for based on our address) and she was miserable... she was taunted and teased by other students and the staff did nothing about it besides tell me "kids will be kids". That's not good enough for me when my other child is assaulted on the playground on the 2nd day of school, my daughter comes home crying because of bullying, etc. Pleasant Grove is an older school but the grounds are beautifully maintained, the buildings and portables are kept in good repair, cafeteria isn't very big but the food is nutritious. The area around the school is tight too (residential homes, a cemetery and a church). All in all this is a wonderful school. Pleasant Grove is an exceptional school and I'm a proud parent of a Pleasant Grove Roadrunner!"
"Pleasant Grove is A Great school my son enjoyed going there also.His teacher Mrs.Davis was and Awesome teacher this was her last year there due to relocation.If your in the Pensacola area I would DEFINITELY suggest allowing your child are children to attend there.Everyone was very pleasant.They are ahead of alot of other elementary schools."
"Both my children attended PGE and it USED to be a wonderful school that my children enjoyed immensely. However , I've noticed a change for the worse in the last two school years. My son, who loved school and his teacher last year now dreads going , begs to be home schooled, and comes home upset about his teacher. It seems like the faculty has become partial to some of their students, but harassing others. I've had to complain several times in this short period of time my child has been in school due to the teacher's berating him...."
