"Love the store downtown Sarasota. Unfortunately, this location had limited inventory for Brooks Ghost shoes. Only one type and size available that was not to my liking."

"I would absolutely not recommend buying shoes from here. I purchased a pair that an associate recommended to me after telling him I run 5 miles a day. I took the shoes that he said would be comfortable for longer length runs. Tried them out the next day and had to take them off in less than ten minutes because they hurt so bad. I purchased a shoe that came in a wide size but it still was too narrow so it caused a lot of pain when running. Took them back to the store and was told they would only give store credit because the shoe has a CREASE. This basically means you could never get your money back from this store because when testing a running shoe of course it's going to crease. Manager was zero help. So now I'm stuck with store credit to a store that doesn't have shoes wide enough for me. Meaning I can't even get shoes with the money I set aside to buy new shoes with. If you are looking for distance shoes avoid this store at all cost. Some shoes will feel ok standing or walking around a store but then won't feel right once running on pavement or asphalt but once you run in the shoes they will not accept the return."

"I came in a couple of Sundays ago and Connor C. was very patient with my questions, took the time to answer them, and provided 3 different shoes for me to try and explained the pros/cons of each for my foot type. I ended up buying that Hoka Clifton 9 and I really enjoy them. Connor definitely took away the stress and complexity of choosing running shoes and motivated me and gave me practical advice too, when I asked (I'm very much an amateur runner). It was a pleasant shopping experience."
