"The McDonald’s experience has declined significantly starting with the customer service. Most of the staffs voices at the drive thru always sound miserable being at work. Seems like they just hire anyone to meet their bottom line and it shows. Horrible service on top of paying $15 for a cheeseburger meal and nuggets just doesn’t seem right at all."

"Been noticing a severe lack of quality over the past few years, but some places seem to think there's a prize for coming in dead last... I give you, the McDonald's in Sanford, on the corner of 46a and French Ave. If I only had to pull to a numbered lot and wait 5 or even 10 minutes to get my meal, ok... but, when it's all the time lately AND, a 20 minute wait? Seriously? And I come thru at the same time usually... do ya think 5 to 6pm, Donner time is gonna be busy and ya might want to prep for the rush? And having worked at a McDonald's as a kid, I can tell you that even when we manually worked the grill, we would perform a 24 patty "turn/lay" and crank out 12 burgers, 6 big macs and 12 QP's in less than 5 minutes. And then, (wait, there's more?) Why is it that a big Mac that took 20 minutes to bring out to me, should look like a toddler mud stomped that sucker and tossed it back in the box looking like a jumbled up rubix cube that's needing to be solved before I eat it? Now let's talk about customer service... 0 on the scale! I always ask the drive thru people how their day is, because I realize most feel like this job is meaningless and beneath them. Got it. So join the service and learn a skill... but for now, how about NOT standing at the pick up window with your back to the customer and either handing them their drink without acknowledging them or giving hand gestures to pull forward without looking at the person! And finally, management pay attention... get your workforce OFF THEIR DAMN CELL PHONES! I'm no rocket surgeon but that could be part of the problem."

"Quite Disappointing. I've given this McDonald's a second, third, and fourth opportunity. At about $11.99 for a double Big Mac with added $3.30 for Mocha Frappe... burnt, dry beef patties!?; I had to throw away. Fish filet.. about $4.59 [see photo] judge for yourself if it appears at all edible[?]. I recall McDonald's had two filet sizes back in the day. This one was like a promotional 2 for $4 version, and it was dry. Unfortunately, I had to toss this one out as well. Aside from being overcooked, the beef patties and fish had to be sitting in prep bin for about 4-5hrs. French Fries, I must say, were fresh; however, they lacked salt. Good thing I was en route and was able to season them while they were still piping hot at home. Overall: I rate this one horrible. it's hit or miss, leaning more towards miss at this location. Why chance it with your hard earn money? It truly appears that the quality and customer experience do not matter to this owner. 8 years now within the general area, and the experience has not improved one bit. I can not encourage anyone to eat here, and it only took $21.28 after tax towards further discouragement. The owner should experience a level of shame here or enjoyment from losing customers for far less. The fact that there is a Burger King right across the street and other restaurants on 1st street, 17/92 and 46 you can elect to go to, should be enough motivation for this McDonald's and its owner to be somewhat more competitive for it's community, customers/patrons. If by chance you do happen to desire McDonald's, I'd head over to the one just behind the Starbucks off 46 and Hickman Dr.. it's worth the short trip, and you'd feel somewhat better about your order and money spent."

"I'd rather count individual grains of salt on a McDonald's French fry than to count how many times McDonald's emloyees have screwed up orders, but this one truly shocked me. Imagine my surprise when after ordering a two-cheeseburger meal, eating one of the burgers and telling my kids, "weird... It seemed like there wasn't any meat on that burger." Then imagine unwrapping the second burger and deciding to look between the bus while simultaneously thinking to yourself "why are you so stupid to look between the buns of a cheeseburger because you think they actually forgot the meat on the first one!" Low and behold, you are stunned when your suspicions are CORRECT! I am at a loss for words! This is by far the absolute epitome of an example of your franchise having zero ability to even comprehend what customer service and what showing pride in your work actually is."

"WORST MCDONALDS EVER!!!! At this specific location, the order takers are RUDE AS EVER, GHETTO, and LACKING in any kind of customer service. My orders are CONSISTENTLY WRONG and I’m never going back to this McDonalds. Management? Yea right. They are just as bad. You’ve been warned."
