"Do not get fooled by the pictures in the websites, the rooms are nothing like that. And the worst part is the smell every where in that hotel, it is so bad I feel I am breathing chemicals!!!"
"The hotel is amazing, close to the beach, very convenient location! Just a 20 min walk to all the attractions! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room service is amazing! Will be staying here next time!!!"
"I’m giving this hotel 5 stars and I will explain why. I booked this hotel using Expedia points so for the price I paid it was worth it. someone paying full price, may be more critical. The location is right off the beach. I took an Uber so I did not have to deal with parking. Keep in mind that this is right off the beach so there is a lot of external noise. In my opinion, this is not anything the hotel can control. The hotel is old, probably built before central air conditioning. The halls and elevator are not air conditioning but each room does have an air conditioner. If this bothers you, don’t book here. The rooms have been updated but do show their age. The room was clean as was the bathroom. There were windows on two sides as we had a corner room and there was a fair amount of light that came in around the curtains. I am a nightshift worker so I normally sleep during the day and the light did not bother me. There was a slight damp odor but I have lived by the ocean before and especially in old buildings this is almost impossible to get rid of. There was a small balcony that faced the ocean but not something you would bring your chair out onto and chill. The only thing I found slightly frustrating about the hotel is they lock the doors at 10 pm and there is not a doorbell or buzzer to alert staff you are there. I knocked and called without answer. We waited outside close to 5 minutes before the man at the front desk came back to the desk and noticed us outside."
"The ad on the website does not compare to the actual accommodations. The rooms are small, not place for clothing. There is a small sink in a closet for washing things, nothing tomake a cup of tea or coffee in the room, no ice available. I will not go there again. Good thingit is a short walk to the beach."
"Unfortunately, I was never able to stay at this hotel because my flight was cancelled due to tornadoes that occurred the night before. There was no way for me to get to Miami for two days and I had a limited time to travel. I am giving this low rating for poor customer service. The hotel was immediately contacted about my situation (ten hours before check-in) and refused to compromise by giving me any sort of refund or credit. The manager is extremely dismissive and patronizing. I hope everyone who considers booking this hotel thinks of my situation and finds another hotel."
