"Where to even start on this , we booked this hotel on Expedia for a few days after our cruise. They called a couple weeks out and confirmed everything and was polite and professional. We called after we disembarked our ship and they had a room ready much appreciated. Then the nightmare begins there was a new employee starting that day and she was friendly as was the owner however no one checked our ID upon check in we could of been anyone no card on file for incidentals. We had booked an Oceanview room we were given room 16. We got to the room tried the key and nothing we have to get the owner okay things happen I get it. We finally enter the room and wow salvation army chic is what we got. Not one piece of furniture matches anything else in the room and the toliet runs constantly. We had a couple places to stop when we came back the door still does not work right and the air conditioner above us is pouring water on us as we struggle with the door. The owner left a new employee by herself so she could go to church, this poor girl had no idea what to do or how to handle it. We had to suggest we move rooms. The new room was just as horrifying it included a kitchen with tin foil drip pans is it really that much work to use proper drip pans and clean them after each guest. The electrical outlets are 5 degrees crooked and wires sticking out that seems safe doesn't it. We leave and come back after dark and the single blind they have on the bedroom window is see through the TV remotes all have tape for battery backs. We get into bed and have 2 of the flatest used pillows you ever saw I don't think you could iron them that flat. The next day when we leave the door on out new room will not lock oh geesh I am seeing a theme here. We finally get it to work and let the front desk know. They tell us Billy will work on it when he gets in. We get a text while we are out that they need to get a locksmith out but offer us the rear door key in case they can not make it out that day. We get back the lock Smith fixed it but small problem they left the door rear door unlocked. Anyone could of been in the room waiting on us. We let the on-site manager know and he kinda shrugged and said it is what it is. This place could be so nice but with the ownership on site they seemed worried about non essential items instead of guest safety. Oh and bonus the office is only open 830 am till 3pm. This is not conducive to people arriving late or if you have a problem."

"I absolutely love this place, Karen and Billy are wonderful to work with. I love the little apartment there's plenty of room to relax and get away from the sun. It's right on the beach and a five minute walk from the downtown beach boardwalk which is lovely."

"Every room is different! We've stayed many times. We love it each time. We can bring our pets and we also have a great time. It's an old building but very well taken care of. Very homey"
