Foum Hotel

"In February 2015 we had booked for just one night at this location. We quickly learned that it was a former hospital converted into a hotel by the religious people of the Ministry of Hope (Hope). VERY modest room and bathroom. “Minimal” and poorly maintained furnishings. Unable to adjust the air conditioning/heating in our room. Impossible to open the blind of the only window in our room. You couldn't see the weather when you got up in the morning. Only one “double” bed for 2 adults whereas we normally offer at least one “Queen” or “King” bed. Monastery decoration in your room and shabby furniture. Very poor lunch. No smoking & No alcohol in the building. As a monastery, we would give it 4 stars. In fact, it's a great place to spend a week in prayer, meditation, or on a semi-closed retreat. However, as a hotel, we only give it 1 star. We were expecting at least 2 or 3 star hotel service, but that was not the case."
