"Manny cancelled my booking while I was on the airplane. VERY rude front desk staff. Absolutely not hospitable. Never been treated so badly in life, was left feeling unsafe and excused. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR CUSTOMER FACING STAFF WITH BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Will never book Hampton anywhere ever again. A complaint has been issued to corporate. Good day. 2 star hotel with good reason."

"The hotel had no hot water, I was not informed when checking in, the staff lying, manager hiding in his office and not taking on the issue. The isolation between rooms non existent can hear people talk and doors opening and closing. Breakfast would be ok if they did not run out of bread and beagles. The good part about the hotel is that it’s clean and looks like it was build not too long ago."

"The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms are nice as well....most of the staff are nice and helpful, but there are just a couple of staff members that I would consider to be "bad apples," and they need to be fired, including one woman who works at the front desk. She was rude, incompetent, and incapable of listening. She was completely incompetent and gave me a migraine. Because of her, I wasted a bunch of unnecessary time trying to get into the hotel room because there was an issue with the electronic lock on the room door. Thank goodness I finally had a woman manager come upstairs to fix the lock so I could get in the room. The woman manager was fantastic; she solved my problem in literally 15 seconds, and she deserves an A+ and a big fat Christmas bonus. She was super friendly and accommodating. But the lady working the front desk was utterly worthless. Get rid of her. Fire her. She is the reason I am giving this place 1 star. To the manager who assisted me, thank you, I appreciate your assistance."

"Very new and modern with everything I needed for an overnight work trip. Room was contemporary, clean, and really brilliant on the basics! Plentiful free well lit parking welcomed me back at the end of the night, and all of my interactions with the staff were absolutely professional. Lots of lighting, a desk to work from, and numerous well placed, convenient plugs and USB charge ports came in super handy to recharge all my devices for the next day. Started the next day off with a hot shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The hotel breakfast area was clean and well laid out. It also had a lot of variety including make your own waffles. I'm super glad I chose Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Pompano Beach and would definitely stay again next time I have to work in South Florida."
