"Rooms are ok, definitely can use some love. Beds were comfortable enough. Rooms are small for 4 adults with full size beds- super small bathroom- it gets the job done ! Great location . Friendly staff and people!!! We will be back!!!"
"Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Was charged twice for my stay and could never get anyone to help me refund that. Ended up having to do that through my credit card company because the hotel didn’t seem to care. The vallet lost our car key the night before we were supposed to get on our cruise and were also not helpful at all. WORST HOTEL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The cheap prices are not worth how awful this hotel is. The entire staff is rude, especially in the restaurant. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY."
"The location of the hotel and staff are amazing. It pretty much stops there though. Save your money folks. The place is a joke. To start, the elevators don’t work so you need to cary your luggage up and down the stairs. No offer to help and not even an offer for water. In fact water was available for a fee; after caring a 30 pound bag up 14 flights of stairs you want to charge me for water. Not a good incentive when you have a disabled person with you. We were there for 3 nights. No one cleaned the room the entire time we were there. The brochure said free water in your room - it’s not. It’s located in the lobby so you need to climb up and down the stairs to get it. The brochure also said parking is available. It is available but it’s $40 a day. Would have been nice to know this upfront. I hope the management staff sees this review. If it wasn’t for the location of the hotel it would have been closed years ago."
"A pleasant surprise. Very nice boutique hotel with very good restaurant. Front desk clerk was very poised and upgraded us. Tomas in the restaurant was excellent and food was quite good. Very fair room rates with transfer service to cruise terminal. Great view of bay from room. This gets my rare highly recommended rating."
"Honestly confused by the reviews for this hotel. The carpet in the room was not only dirty but had dried paint flecks and dry paint dust covering the floors evidenced by the layer of white dust on my black socks. The hallway smelled like a mix of pool water and mildew while the fragrance in the lobby could be smelled from outside. The bathroom was TINY, like you could barely turn around small and could wash your hands while sitting on the toilet small. The water pressure in the shower was ridiculously low, and the shower control knob literally broke off while showering and cut my sister's foot, on top of that the bathroom fan didn't really work making the small very steamy bathroom with only hot water (due to the faulty knob) an even worse experience. Also the supplied conditioner container looked like it had never been cleaned, you could see multiple layers of old conditioner build up in different colors. The bed headboard was a microfiber almost texture that was cracking and flaking on my hair when I sat up against it and the bedding was pretty much 2 flat sheets and a blanket, no comforter or duvet. While I know this isn't a luxury resort, overall it was not only underwhelming but not very clean or functional even. Also valet parking, the only parking we could find or were pointed to, was $40/ night, a little high for guests in my opinion. The valet staff was nice but did take a little while however I don't think it was the staff but the location that caused this. They also had a small valet staff, maybe it would be helpful to implement a call-ahead system to help the wait. Pros: The front desk staff was nice, the lobby had a lot of security (not sure if this is normal but I guess if they feel it is needed it was appreciated) and the location seemed good even though we didn't stay long. Bottom line, was it the worst hotel I've ever stayed in... no. But would I stay again or recommend it, no."
