La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North 7401 Northwest 36th Street, Miami, FL 33166

"The night manager was very very rude to us. We arrived at 2am 1/26/24 and he informed us we no longer had a reservation, it was canceled. Not offering to help in any way. I told him I called earlier to let them know we'd arrive late. There was a note the woman left I had talked with earlier. He said they were "booked out" but since I called he could see if there was a room. The room smelled like stale smoke. It was gross. I couldn't breathe right. I would never recommend or book this hotel again."

"Avoid this hotel like the plague, the staff is extremely rude. The airport shuttle does not run on a timely schedule like they say it does. Breakfast is not friendly. If you have a wheat /gluten or milk allergy, the beds are horrible. The doors are very difficult to open and you have to slam them shut, so they closed tightly. This hotel will charge you an early check-in fee which I have never been charged when I have stayed at a La Quinta before and then they lied to you tell you it’ll be refunded and it’s not And good luck at trying to get in touch with the hotel manager because she will never respond to anything."

"The worst hotel I have EVER stayed at in Miami!!! First I had a problem with the lady at the front desk because I’m explaining to her I booked a room with a refrigerator and microwave. I’m actually showing her my booking and it literally says it’s included and she says and I repeat “our double bed rooms doesn’t come with that” WELL WHY IS IT IN THE BOOKING!!!!! Even if it doesn’t come with it you would think she would accommodate because the actual booking said it but NO. To make things worse I took the room she gave me and there was ROACHES inside the room in the bathroom and inside the tub. Not only that but it was also what looks to be blood stains in the tub. I went back to complain and there’s still no remorse, accountability, or accommodations! She gave me a different room but this one had used tissue down to the last pieces (should have been completely replaced), the phone wasn’t working, nor was the TV. The door wouldn’t open or close properly, it was just ALL BAD! Only good thing it has is a good location. It’s right in the middle of Wendy’s and McDonald’s so it’s pretty convenient to find something to eat but everything else literally SUCKS!!! Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to ANYONE! If I could give 0 stars I really would!"

"Great location, very close to airport, and the staff were friendly. I’m scared of heights so the outside balcony area was a bit scary. Overall it was a good stay though. It was better than expected and they provided Dove soap and lotion. The beds could’ve been a little bit cleaner though."
