Despite the manager's attempt to label it as a "palmetto bug," it is essential to recognize that this term merely serves as a euphemism for a particular species of cockroach. Additionally, the exorbitant charges for valet parking seem unjustifiable for an establishment afflicted by such pest issues. However, it is important to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by the maintenance staff, who promptly addressed the issue and eliminated the roach. Nonetheless, the sighting of one roach raises concerns about the potential infestation within the premises. Consequently, I advise potential guests to exercise caution when considering a stay, as the presence of pests in the hotel may compromise the overall experience and necessitate heightened vigilance."

"I had a meeting with a hotel guest, I wanted to park for 1 minute in Valet Parking to pick up a passenger. It was raining heavily and the parking lot was completely empty. But the security staff rudely did not allow me to do this and did not even provide information about where the alternative parking is. In this way, he forced me and the hotel guest to get wet in the rain on the way to the car. I had to meet her, because otherwise she would have spent a long time looking for where I parked my car. Take measures!"

"Thursday EDM music is ridiculous. The hotel rooms shake from the music rumbling on the 7th floor. Avoid staying at this hotel on Thursdays if you want a good night sleep. The hotel staff is very friendly. Housekeeping does a fantastic job. The GM needs to stop this nonsense."

"I have been staying at the Element for a month now, and plan to stay for a few more for work. All the staff I interact with including the reception, housekeeping, and breakfast attendants always go above and beyond and are always very helpful and attentive. Specifically, my work is very particular about the invoices and John in accounting always helps me to get it just right, Jojo makes me AMAZING breakfasts and always has a contagious smile, Ashley at reception has helped me with multiple things as well. The valet crew always do a great job and are running non-stop, but they are always short staffed in the AM, please hire more help for them. Thank you for a great stay so far!"

"- Long check in - Staff couldn’t find my reservation. Insisted that a card needed to be on file for incidentals even though this was a business trip booked by my company. No information given as far as breakfast, accommodations, etc. - Inconsistent information - I was told over the phone there was a pet relief station in front of the building which ultimately was the reason why we booked here. During check in no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I had to find it for myself. There is a station on the back of the building with a patch of grass and dog bags for your pet waste. - Room - Water infiltration on the ceiling, blinds won’t go up or down so the room is constantly dark, the clothes iron cord doesn’t not work, the toilet barely flushed (If you want a full flush, lift the top of the toilet up and manually do it), the TV and remote work intermittently. I was told last night they are fully booked and unable to transfer me to another room. - Staff - hit or miss. You might get a great experience or not. - Valet - This hotel is valet only though it only takes about 5-10 min to get your car. When dropping off late at night, be prepared to wait as they run a skeleton crew for late hours. - Location - Truly the only positive for me. Near tons of shopping and dining. Easily Hwy access. . Overall you can get a much better experience just about anywhere else in Tampa."
