"Front desk was friendly and that was about it. The rooms are not ideal for the price. There's a $50 deposit per night. I was also aware of the $20 per night fee for parking, but I did not use the parking and was still charged a total of $60.00. After contacting the hotel they reverse the charge of the parking fee and a random charge of a restaurant fee. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay. There's a lot of stores, restaurants in the area, and lots to do."
"This NOT your typical Courtyard Marriott The room was nothing like the photos. Take the picture an image what it would look like 10 years from now with some of the cabinets missing. The kitchen area is similar to my mechanic’s waiting area. The pool water was warm but no towels at the pool. I asked them to bring some out 2 hours ago but that didn’t happen. I am now dry now lol. The sliding board in the pool was done with creative photography. It’s not that big. If you stay here, then make sure you don’t pay much for the room."
"This hotel is located between Sea World, Disney, and Universal, so it's a convenient spot to stay if you want to jump between multiple venues--it's only about 15-20 minutes to each place. I'd categorize this as an expensive mid-range hotel that's just "okay." The best part of this hotel is the staff, who are friendly and responsive to whatever you need. That said, you have to seek them out and appear in person at the front desk, as they don't answer the phone for Guest Services no matter what time of day or night you call;. The breakfast buffet has nice variety but is pricey ($19/pp), so make this one of your main and biggest meals of the day if you want to get your money's worth. Otherwise, grab something at the parks or pretty much any other restaurant, as it will be cheaper and just as good. The building is pretty secure in that you need a room key to access the parking lot ($20/day to park) and the elevator (a pain when your hands are full and you can't grab your key). For the latter, take the stairs, it's much faster than the elevator and not nearly as clunky. Our room was tidy but not clean--teeny bugs on the counters (the hotel finally gave me a can of bug spray to keep in the room after 2 nights of repeat visitors) and the bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing which we ended up doing ourselves because their staff seemed overwhelmed in keeping up with housekeeping. Our 2BR room overlooked the parking lot and was an okay size for two adults but would have been very tight for any more than that; my daughter and I had to get ready at the sink one at a time because it's simply not big enough for two people to use--the counter is tiny. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower but no lotion, so bring your own. The toilet paper is harsh--you could almost use it as writing paper, it's that crisp. Bring earplugs, as the walls are paper thin and this hotel is busy, so it's quite loud. Our toilet glugged loudly anytime anyone else flushed theirs, but that noise was solved by keeping the bathroom door closed. Earplugs helped with the noise in the hallways and the people in the next rooms, but the slamming doors were difficult to get around. It's a hotel that provides the basics, so you'll have a comfortable place to stay but it's not luxury."
"Sadly, my stay wasn't to the Marriott standard. 1. The 2 queen standard room felt unclean at first. Found a spider under one of the pillows of one bed. Slept on the other bed after careful inspection. Woke up the next day with painful bites on my arms. Immediately went the front desk and asked for my room to be checked and cleaned or to be moved. They send someone to check on the insect, and who affirmed that they will alert the front desk and to take all my belonging just in case. I left for my commitment for the day. Upon my return to the hotel later that day, I stopped by reception to verify if the room was cleared and cleaned or if I can be moved to another since I didn't feel safe staying there. I was told that the room was cleared and cleaned, but that they were fully booked with no other room available. I proceeded to the room: mattresses and all beddings were all over the place from the earlier inspection - nothing was cleaned nor was the room cleared. Took a picture and went back to the front desk. Only then did they "find" another room to move me to. By then. It was already ~11pm. The new room was an improvement. Much cleaner. I Took the time to inspect, steam and sanitize my travel stuff. Longest no sleep night ever. I am terrified that I may take home any insects. I left as soon as possible the next day. 2. Be prepared to pay additional fees [~$30/day] on top of the listed price."
"This is perfect for families! hotel is recently renovated. They have 2 pools (kids with a toddler slide that allows parents to watch easily instead of being in the water with their kid.) Also has a bar and Starbucks (mini versions of both) For the price, it was amazing (compared to other courtyards...it blows them away. I also stayed at the Springhill suites, and this is much nicer) They had several perks for my titanium status and gave amazing service. I live in Melbourne but come to Orlando for getaways with the kids, and this will be my new GO TO hotel."
