"NO SOUND INSULATION!!! Kids running everywhere banging on doors, playing in the hallways. The doors have a big airgap underneath them so you can hear everything in the hallway, which wouldn't take much for the hotel to fix. My room also had a connecting door with no insulation, and next door was a family with loud kids, it was like I was in the same room with them. The staff were nice, but DEFINITELY wouldn't stay here again."
"So much rust that has just been poorly spray painted over or just ignored. The lack of vent fan in bathroom is insane. A/c is loud but not too bad. Sad I cannot keep the room colder then 68 or, as it says, thermostat won't work. Not that I could get room colder then 75. TV is kinda big and fridge works poorly. Wish I could open the window. Staff super friendly but even they said they wished there was coffee in lobby. Who really wants lemon water?!?! It's trying to be so pretentions but just scratch the surface and it's poor motel quality. Furniture update is so silly. Gray tables by elevator doors have holes in it so won't really let you set small things down. Some corp big wig making silly choices and has lost touch with what really is needed. Sand, caulk, add a vent to bathrooms would be better money spent then silly common area changes. Tables are flat surfaces... root balls and twisted branches are not tables. Warm cookie.... Sigh.... I'd rather have my breakfast buffet at over $200 a night. Grounds are well kept. I get it, near campus so it stays busy. Probably some old off brand hotel bought by Hilton and never has been pushed into the 21st century. I miss my Hilton Garden Inn but it was full. Update: Forgot one other thing, the thicker blinds do not shut so hand to clothes pin them together to block the parking lot light at night. The thin white currents do not block the light. A/c did get to 70s so it's working okay. Another update.... Actually put it from two stars to three because of the warm cookie being available after a long days work. Plus, I did not realize there are three layers to the curtains so you can black out the room without clipping the top. Room is very clean. Biggest thing really is the rust on pretty much every metal surface in bathroom area."
"I stayed here for 1 week because my child was competing in a Flag Football tournament. All the front desk staff are very friendly. I had breakfast once and the staff was friendly and it was tasty. The room was clean and bed was comfy. My only complaint was the bathroom in the lobby, while checking out I went in there to urinate and I was disgusted because the urine odour was horrendous, I even gagged. I don't understand why the lobby bathroom stinks, why isn't it treated the same as the other bathrooms in the hotel?"
"The location is great if you have a UCF student, just a 4min drive to campus. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The downside is the set up of the room, I booked a king bed room. I was able to select my room but when I arrived, I was told that room was given away. So I was placed in another room, what's the point of room selection? Also the lighting is terrible 3 dim lamps with no lighting selection. No vent in the bathroom, and the toilet paper is literally behind the toilet. I don't know about you but when I have to wipe I would rather not turn at a 180 degree angle. The bed was mediocre and the pillows were horrible."
"There were a few things about the room I didn’t like but I could overlook it, since the staff was so friendly that made up for it. There are some things that should be done in the rooms. The AC is super loud. I had breakfast every morning, which was ok..nothing special. The waitress Diana was the sweetest, so friendly and such a hard worker. The staff at the entrance were also very friendly! I enjoyed staying here. College town, so obviously it’s a high traffic area."
