"When I arrived there were no kitchen supplies available, even though I had sent an email requesting them. The receptionist Gloria was very friendly, apologized, and explained that she would only get the kit the next day, when guests checked out. I advise the hotel to provide more kits. Because the decisive factor in me booking a room with you was the possibility of preparing my children's meals."
"Traveling for my job. This is one the nicest hotels I seen in Orlando in a while. Flat screen TV's, full kitchen with stove and sink. The rooms been spotless. No bed bugs or roaches. I love the employees. The employees make you feel at home and family. They always striving to improve I can tell by the experience and the way the employees carry their selves. Overall my experience here have been A1. It would be the one if they had a gym or pool."
"I want to start off by saying the hotel staff have been very helpful and always had great customer service during my stay at this hotel. I give the staff 5 stars. The rest of the review below is for ALL the owners of this hotel. Exterior: There should be a push ADA button for people with disabilities. I have opened the door a few times for guests staying at this hotel with walkers, wheelchairs and walking canes. Guests should not have to juggle grocery bags to try to open the door that is heavy for people with disabilities. Although the building is older, there are other hotels in the area that are older and they have push button access. This is an onging issue that needs to be addressed asap. interior Hallways: There is no reason the carpet on each floor should look like its never been shampooed. Yes, the hallways are very traffic heavy however, the dark carpet makes the hallways look dark and dreary. The carpet should compliment the walls decor to make it inviting on the guest way into a clean room. The hallways should be vacuumed everyday not once a week. The third floor smells like hot garbage. Air freshners should be on every floor. Interior Room: I like the room however there are no photos on the walls. It makes the room look bland. If this is a guest home away from home for any length of time, then there should be some sort of paintings or photos on the walls. The kitchen and bathroom should be updated. Everything is basic and outdated. The room also need to be sprayed for bugs as I saw a bug on the wall coming from the window. Breakfast: Hot cereal such as grits and oatmeal is served but there are no bowls or butter for guests to enjoy if they decide to eat in the breakfast area or on the run. There is no milk, juice or water only coffee to go with the very cheap and basic muffin. Burry is the brand. Never heard of it. WiFi: Why should guests have to pay for better, faster wifi when it is advertised as faster, free wifi? A decent speed should be included in every guest stay. Since this hotel is in the area of a major theme park, there is no reason this location should be a basic hotel 1 or 2 star hotel. Epic Universe, the fourth theme park under Universal Orlando Resort, is opening summer of 2025. Why should any guests choose to stay at this hotel when they can choose a hotel with better rooms, breakfast and amenities? What would make guests come to this location? If this hotel wants to remain 90-95% full every week, then the little changes mentioned above should be taken into account to get ready for the grand opening of the fourth park and the future of this ever changing area. Step by step, get it done."
"I’ve been here almost a week now and my stay has been amazingly pleasant! Rooms are vey clean, Customer service has been outstanding, Staff has been super professional, helpful and incredibly polite from the day I walked in! Miss Sandra and Alesha are the absolute best, I will be sure to refer my friends and family about this extended stay America specific location! Thank you again.."
"Conveniently located, kind staff (they answered our questions and accommodated us with an extra chair for our room), great kitchen set up in room, and well designed bedroom. Great simple breakfast 6:30-9:30am! My colleague and I both mentioned that we would stay again for future Orlando stays. Room smelled rather like whatever had been cooked there before us, but not unpleasant, and I got used to it each time after a few minutes in the room. I think that's a natural side effect of having a well equipped kitchen, so no problem there."
