"Dr. Jackson, Crystal, Yani, and Emily I brought my dog in from a really bad accident on January 1 and I expected my dog not to live. You guys gave me Hope and helped me through this whole process. I have never in my life had a veterinary place team or anything that I have loved, they are the most, amazing kind sweet full of love for every animal people and no matter what they will help and help you figure out a way. Thank you so much for giving me hope and my baby girl back. They had to do reconstruction surgery of my dogs, back leg all the way to the crease of her leg. It was the most impossible surgery for a big dog, but they made it happen and helped me through my most emotional train wreck of my baby girl they made me feel hopeful, and at ease I can’t thank them enough thank you advance veterinary. You guys are the bomb Diggity Lol."
"Horrible doctor. Had my dogs consultation to which Dr. Jackson who spent only 5 mins in the room and said how messed up my dog’s leg is and here are the options. I was given two options and was told they would not question my decision and they are here to do what I think is best for my dog because they agree with either of them and gave me estimates and info for both. After considering both options and the fact (that now two doctors have said) that one of the options might not work fully on my dog given how disfigured his femur is I chose a pretty drastic option which was not an easy decision. Fast forward to the day of surgery I have taken off over a week from work, had people from the other coast coming in, in my absence for that time in preparation so I could properly care for my dog after surgery. I drop him off at 8am and at 10am I get a call from the doctor who is very nonchalant and said he won’t be doing the surgery because my dog with his disfigured leg has gotten used to lightly walking on his tip-toes so “he’s fine”. I am obviously angry at this point because he is absolutely not fine and the X-rays are proof of that. Was this not the point of the consult that I had to pay $75 for? Or the several weeks leading up to the surgery where I brought in a $500 deposit and asked every possible question about this surgery and about recovery? He chose the day of surgery and two hours after I dropped him off to decide he wasn’t going to do it. He said I should be happy we are not doing such a drastic surgery, I would have been if this conversation happened at anytime before the day of surgery! And because I was angry at his lack of communication he said he will not do any surgery on my dog as I am a liability due to being angry at the situation. He has now also ruined me getting a proper second opinion because they claim I am upset with the risks of surgery?! I know there is always a risk. That has nothing to do with this situation. I’m glad this incompetent doctor never opened up my dog. I have since heard from multiple people just how incompetent and rude he is from their own experiences with him including talking down to them because they ask a simple question and are uneducated in the vet med world. When I told him I want my $500 back he said “hm I guess we could do that for you” seriously? You guess? Would highly suggest looking for a different professional for anyone in search of a surgeon who will give you the time of day to properly evaluate your dogs needs during a consultation."
"“Dr.Jackson and his awesome team exemplify compassion, care, and competency. He took the time to listen and examine our dog Yogi and learn about his ailments and was so present and warm. We were very impressed with his extensive knowledge and super smart solutions. (His father was a Vet and therefore, Dr.Jackson spent his entire life understanding animals; and it really shows). We run a charity to help shelter pets and understand the value and importance of having a stellar Vet to protect your pets with the best care. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else, Dr.Jackson is the “Rolls Royce” of Veterinarians.”"
"Dr Jackson is wonderful. Our French Bulldog required surgery for his back and everywhere we went to wanted nearly $9,000 up front with no payment plans. Dr. Jackson was able to get us in and do the surgery for less than half of that! Still no payment plans, but a lot more reasonable to handle price wise. It’s been 4 weeks since the surgery and Ben is recovering great! He’s still a little wobbly, but physical therapy is doing wonders and his back is all healed up. If it weren’t for being shaved, you’d hardly be able to tell he just had major back surgery!! Thank you TJ and your team!!!"
"I would highly recommend Dr. Jackson and his staff! They are all so friendly and thoughtful. I just wish I had found out about them sooner. I started taking, Emmi, my yellow lab dog, to Advanced Veterinary about a couple months ago. I was told by another veterinarian that some masses could not be removed. Took her to Advanced Veterinary, and within a week Dr. Jackson and his team removed both masses. Dr. Jackson came highly recommended to me by some friends that take their dogs there. He and his team are so thoughtful. Dr. Jackson is so compassionate. I recently had to put my dog, Emmi, down. She had been my sidekick for 14 years. He gave me every option and explanation to what he could do, but in the end putting her down was the best option for Emmi. It put an end to her suffering I can't give the doctor enough praise for being so compassionate in my situation. Again, I highly recommend Dr. Jackson and his staff!"
