Animal Wellness Center of Bonita

"I want to get on here and share my experience a Animal Wellness Center in Bonita. I would drive all the way from the southern point of Naples Florida almost from Marco because in the beginning I really enjoyed the care that they provided. I felt like I could trust them with my dog. However, after this last recent visit that I was scheduled for at 9:30, with a confirmation text that says 930….. I will never be stepping foot near there again. The previous week the doctor asked me to bring both my dogs and one for a check up on a lump. The other one was overdue for shots that they forgot to schedule while I had both of the dogs there. So to make up for their mistake, they asked me to bring my older dog with me while they checked up on the smaller dog but if everything turns out to be fine during the week with the small dog and the symptoms go away there is no need to bring him But still bring my big dog for her shots. So I get a confirmation text saying this date at 9:30 AM as I’m driving there at 9:18 AM. The receptionist asked me if everything is OK and if I would like to reschedule as I respond why would I want to be scheduled when I’m scheduled at 9:30? she stated that she has on there at 9 o’clock and I said well I have a confirmation text for 9:30. Anyways, I arrive at my schedule time. Of course the reception is not having a clue of what’s going on. I politely ask her what app do we use here at the vet? I try to open it up to try to assist her in finding out exactly what my big dog was due, for I was able to find it because the records are extremely hard to find on the app, then, my next question was if Dr. Brough would be in and I stated she would know what’s going on. (Because she’s the one who made the appointment.) HERES WHERE IT GOES ABSOLUTELY HAYWIRE!!!!!!!!! they placed me in the patient room, the next thing I know the door swings open to Dr. Brough halfway in the door berating me like I’m an employee there! Telling me I should know better because I had a family member who worked here and that she’s really disappointed in me!!! When I did nothing wrong I came at my scheduled appointment time. I have never worked there. I don’t know how to schedule my own appointments through their system. They scheduled me this appointment and clearly they were overwhelmed and overbooked and that’s how they treated me ??? I’m just sitting there completely shocked and confused as I’m holding the text confirmation in my hand…. She continues to talk to me extremely unprofessionally like I’m a child, talking to me like we have a personal relationship, which we absolutely do not. You are a doctor and I am a paying patient. The disrespect was on a completely other level. I have never been spoken to like that in my entire life in any situation, let alone at a veterinarian. But really, what drives me insane is that with my big dog they have previously messed up extremely bad and overmedicated her to the point where she almost died. YET I continued to come there and I continue to be a good patient and trust them and then to go get screamed at in this manner was completely the last straw. This place is completely disorganized, unprofessional, extremely dangerous, it scares me that they work with animals!!! Please whatever you do do not come here!!! my experiences have been horrible, and I would never want anyone to experience, what I experienced while being a patient there. Dr. Brough, you should be ashamed of yourself!!! How can you call yourself a doctor acting like that??? And Dr. Greenfield your license should be revoked for almost killing my dog!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!"

"I have always been more than pleased with the level of care my dog gets from the doctors at Animal Wellness Center of Bonita!! The staff is very friendly and they have never been anything but welcoming."

"I just lost my sweet Pumpkin boy cat a week ago. I was worried about his sister Mittens and wanted to make sure I was doing everything right in taking care of her and making sure she was okay after his passing. The vet and her amazing vet tech that came into the room and spoke with me when I came in Tuesday morning were so very sweet and compassionate to my situation and with my baby Mittens. They made me feel better about the situation and about the care I was giving Mittens. I even got my pretty girl a new cat fountain and am getting her new wet food like vet suggested. So far she loves the fountain. When the time comes for me to get her a new companion I will definitely be coming back to them. I love this place and the care they give."

"We are snowbirds and came down for the season so didn’t have a veterinarian here in Florida. We do now! The staff at Animal Wellness Center of Bonita were warm, friendly, funny and welcoming. From the Team at the front desk, to the wonderful vet tech, to the doctor, I was so impressed. Thank you for the wonderful visit today."

"These amazing people are literal life savers. When my dog's vet was out of town, they took us in immediately and performed emergency surgery. They were amazing with follow-up care and really made us feel like family. We will definitely be back!"
