"Friendly and helpful associates. Found what I needed and price was good due to Publix Club discount and BOGO items."
"I give 3 stars to this location for a variety of experiences and reasons over the past few years. For those who can't make it thru my long review, let's start with something I hope will save some of you a bit of money. Publix has a policy that if an item rings up at a different price than it's labeled, they are SUPPOSED to give that item to the customer FREE (if u r buying more than 1 of same mis-rung item, u only get 1 free)! They are NOT supposed to offer u a discount on the item. Also, it's not one mis-priced item per order, either. If a different item is mis-priced, u get 1 free. When this happens, plz keep in mind that they will call 4 a price chk. Please take a clear picture of the item with its corresponding shelf label, if ever any doubt or make sure you GO WITH staff, when they price check an item. They once literally removed the label and placed the correct one that shld have been there in the 1st place. Had I not taken a pic, they would have succeeded in making me question my sanity! For longer than a decade prior to the last few years, I would have given this location more than 5 stars. They used to stock/re-stock specific items, if specifically/formally requested by customers. These days, they go through the motions of the process, but the items never appear. This has happened at least 3 times in the last year. The items I've requested are not items that are unusual/hard to aquire. My most recent example was for a specific flavor of Gatorade (Frost Arctic Blitz - 20 ounce bottle - 8 pack). They previously/constantly carried a few months prior. My family & I used to buy it exclusively at this location for about a year. It's now been around 4 months after my request, with my family & I checking for it continually, with no luck. No label for it on the shelves anymore either. Another time, I had requested they return to stocking a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream flavor (not a seasonal flavor, I researched to be sure b4 my request). It never returned either. What's worse, is that staff (floor & some mgmt.) actually insisted they never carried those items citing there were no labels on the shelves for the item. At that time...I shopped there exclusively! If this store wasn't kept so clean, I'd have given them 2 stars instead..."
"Sub was amazing and Fredericka was so attentative and sweet and made our subs exactly the way we wanted. Pretty clean store. Staff at register was nice too."
"Customer service has gone way downhill. We shop here all the time. They have young kids always complaining about their schedules and how they never get any hours, or employees that are very rude. I was accused of stealing an apple, which my Daughter had grabbed out of the free fruit for kids box. The girl kept telling me I had to pay for it. The deli is also losing it's touch, their fried chicken is all grease that hasn't been drained for lord knows how long. The meat department is almost never fresh. I go to buy any meat, and they only have out meat that expires same day or next. Meat is supposed to have a shelf life after it gets tagged. The quality of the beef is always bad now. Its usually grey and sour where you can't see it. By the time you get home and pull it out to cook dinner, you can't even cook because you have to go take the meat back. Oh, and my favorite....I find A LOT of expired food items that are mixed with good dates. The employees seem to be too lazy to properly cycle food according to the fifo method (first in first out) I don't think they understand that the store loses money from things like this. I worked retail for 20 years. I know when things aren't being done right. To think when I first moved to Florida, I couldn't get a job here, and I'm experienced and educated, but they will hire kids that are rude, lazy, and have conversations that should be private in front of customers and don't even acknowledge them at the register. This happens almost every time I shop here. Check the expiration dates on your food folks, check all meats and deli orders before you leave the store, and choose a cashier that's older than 16-20 years old."
"Not the worst Publix but far from the best. Deli sucks one day and the other day it's not bad. Sub bread generally always sucks at this store. If the deli would actually put what you order/ask then it would be better. You'll generally never get the extra sauce you ask for. Sad when Walmart is the better grocery store in the area. Shopping is not a pleasure at this store. George Jenkins would be ashamed if he was alive and went to this location."
