Dollar General

"Question: Why do you NEVER have cat food!? Ever. Answer: you guys feed all the stray cats. Well I can never find cat food at any dollar general I go to. But I see the outside cats are well fed. You guys are fixing to lose my business. And I'm in dollar general sometime twice a day. I'm not hating on feeding the cats. So order more. Other stores have plenty. Guess I'll be going there instead."

"The cashier was very nice and this store is more organized than most. I like that the electronics aren't begin HD the counter. You can actually walk up and shop unlike all the other stores. But the cashier is an asset to your company. He was more than willing to help anyone that needed help. He went above and beyond"

"Love this one, because it's next to Winn-Dixie & a dollar tree. So you can go-to all 3 plus a Plant Nursery & 2 Auto Store's. And they have good garden decorations, plus much more in that dollar general in this location."

Shelves are always stocked, and wait time in line is always reasonable. This Dollar General is located perfectly, in respect to where I work. So I have come here often. "I was seriously uncomfortable about a situation that occurred while in this store!!! I'm not usually one that say something to a manager regarding the experience, but tonight i did!! I was standing near the door trying to get service on the app on my phone for the coupons, while I'm standing right there the cashier proceeds to tell the supervisor that she didn't like something that she had done, going on and on while the supervisor was working on something on the register, she was unhappy about having to ring out customers and couldn't get her other work done!! The supervisor handled it a lot better than I would have, she was short and to the point, but I could tell she didn't want to talk about this at that moment. I'm sorry but whatever work you have to do when you don't have customers can wait, the customers checking out is the reason the store is there, if she can't handle it all then maybe this isn't the job for her!! Then to add a big ole fat cherry on my shopping trip, I'm ready to check out and I get to experience stressed out Suzy' s endearing personality!!! I was my nice cheerful self, asked her how her night was going as if I didn't already know, and I barely received above a grunt!!! So after I go back to my car and load my things in, I realized I needed to return something, so I spoke with the supervisor, who then got me on the phone with the manager!! I HATE to do things like that I realize we all have off days, but I found out this isn't said employees first issue like this!! Moral of the story there are times and places to hold convos in the work place and a lot of jobs require you to have the skill to be able to fake it til you make it and retail is the prime example of that!!! Customer Service Dollar General Customer Service !!!!"
