"The absolute worst, unhelpful and mean - spirited physician I have ever had the misfortune with whom to cross paths. His office remains stuck in the 1950's with outdated, insufficient and old equipment. He didn't even have a thermometer. Don't waste your time on him. He clearly was unconcerned with my well being."
"My primary for 10 plus years I now carry Optimum insurance which he accepts. Optimum requires you get primary doctors approval to go see specialist. I have a pacemaker in my chest , It recently shocked me two times. I requested too see a heart doctor, he sent me to get a echo on my heart, but he would review it and share results with me. That was over a month ago still not seen results. I requested too see heart doctor for a 2nd time for a pacer check. His office failed to get the approval for this specialist. I complained requested they fax it over , they still failed to do it. I had to call Optimum and complain. Optimum approved the heart appointment and sent paperwork over. Hubsher never faxed over the echo results so the hear doctor could see them and give me results.. The first heart doctor sent me to a another who dealt with Afib specific the reason my pacer went off both times. Mason Hubsher failed to get approval sent too the doctor a 2nd time.I showed up too 2nd heart doctor appointment they informed me they never received approval. I called office spoke to Office manager she had approval in her hand even named heart doctor I was too see. She said she would fax it right over, she did not she went too lunch instead 15 minutes later and heart doctor canceled my appointment. I also complained of sleep issues requested too see a Pulmonary sleep doctor.I complained of both night sweats, and waking gasping for air. One of the times my pacemaker fired was while I was asleep. He denied me seeing this doctor and refused to approve it. When I called back wondering why his Office manger said " He said if you wish too see a Pulmonary doctor I should pay for it myself out of my own pocket, he would not approve it. His Office manger informed me then that he said if I didnt agree with him perhaps I need to get new primary. My response was I am considering it. This is when his office manager hung up on me. VERY professional , He cared more about my insurance having to pay for a specialist then his patients HEART health. I have been forced to start process of getting new primary, very stressful all during same month my pacemaker shocked me two times. TWO THUMBS DOWN !!"
"Dr. Hubsher has been my doctor for the better part of the past decade. He has remained professional and curtious to my unique situation, providing some of the best medical care I have yet to experience. Thanks doc for all of your hard work and understanding!"
"I am originally from Pinellas County. I had my last Dr. for over several years. I did not want to leave her and find another practice since my move to Pasco, so I made the commute for over a year. Finally I conceived because of the amount of traffic and the time consuming commute. I found another female Physician and after one month she had moved to Hillsborough County. I had a hard time figuring out whom to entrust because I have multiple health issues and an extensive medical history. I had two elderly ladies at the Publix Pharmacy over hear a conversation between the Pharmacist and myself. They had employ me to try this Dr. Mason Hubsner. I am glad that I had taken their advice. The entire staff Merrie, Lauren and Celina were extremely pleasant, accommodating, professional and just lovely. Dr. Hubshner had taken his time with me. He asked questions and listened attentively to my responses. He appears very personable, efficient and proficient in his profession in my opinion. I myself have been in the medical profession and I entrust that I am in competent and capable hands. I am a pretty good judge of who is still passionate about their work and their chosen profession. And, knowing who lacks the empathy, or is just burned out!"
"This is my elderly mother's primary care physician, who did not even have her come into his office when she lost consciousness and fell. The next time she fell and ended up in the hospital, he did not see her until more than a week after her fall. She lost consciousness. She also had a raging kidney infection that had gone unnoticed by him. He seemed blissfully unaware that she has two large aneurysms that she was diagnosed with in 2008. The doctors that saw her in the hospital wanted her to go to a larger metropolitan hospital in Tampa because of the complexity of her case. Dr. Hubsher stated to me that he had a contractual obligation to the insurance company and that he would not send her out of network to receive the care that she needs. His office was dirty and disgusting and reeked of old cigarette smoke. His lab coat was dirty. He was impatient with my mother's inability to articulate (a symptom of her current condition). He was rude and condescending. And he made us wait 25 minutes past our appointment time to be seen. He did not inquire about medicine changes made by the hospital and he did not seem concerned with her breathing difficulties. I am just glad that I made the trip from out of state to check on my mother's care. I would not take my dog to this doctor."
