"Update.- Don't make this about your company, that you take pride on this and that. Her maternity leave is not in discussion, I'm a mother of two and I totally understand and that is why we were loyal to her waiting 4 months, I even sent another referral for OT by e-mail and I didn't get a reply or call from any of you. This is about a 2 years old that needs therapy and I sabella was careless, selfish, she made everything about herself, she pointed the issue about her family needs but didn't care about my son's needs and we waited for her, what was she talking about?. Shame on her for discharging my son right after I asked for more often therapy sessions, to a therapist, instead of being professional, polite, caring, respectful with her patients, she could have let another therapist take over BEFORE and not after she's back. She made us wait and then discharge my kid without any consideration. I think she just took things personally and sent my son away because she didn't like we couldn't adjust to her schedule. Otherwise, how would you explain her behaviour? I didn't know I was on "will call", I had to ask by text mesaages the week before for dates available the following week. Lastly, you made a call AFTER I received the discharge letter. Why? So you can have on record that your company made the effort? Again, I don't think you treat my son fairly, equally. My son lost 4 months of his life plus another few months looking for another therapist. Never felt so mistreated. That is my experience with Brightside Therapy. --------- Isabella seemed to be nice and respectful but once you can't adjust to her schedule she will show her true colors. In all sessions I never received a summary of what she's done in that day with my son, just vague comments. I just kept thinking is normal till my son start saying words. She never said how long she'd be gone for maternity leave, I thought we had to stick with her so we actually ended up waiting 4 months. Once she's back she texted me asking when I'm available and I said: 'Please, the sooner the better, any time, any day'. And then suddenly she texted me again 2 hours before a session was cancelled and I said no, it doesn't work for us. She didn't actually set sessions for us that week, she was trying to cover that spot with my son so I said politely: 'I feel like we are not getting very often sessions' and she just discharged my son just because we couldn't adjust to her schedule, after we waited for her 4 months so now my little one now has to wait another few months because there's a waiting list everywhere. Isabella was very unprofessional and disrespectful, made everything about herself and her family, she even said doesn't appreciate people not understanding her family needs which makes no sense coming from someone very unprofessional, had zero consideration with my son who needs help and had zero emphaty for others. My son was the patient here, not her. I do not recommend Brightside Therapy at all, no one else reached out to me to set appointments when she was out, I even sent another referral, after months she said she received it but I never got an e-mail back, it's very dissapointing and unfortunate that this place it's still on business because they clearly need to improve the way they treat their patients. We felt very mistreated by them."
