Wayne Densch Sport Center (WDSC)

The Wayne Densch Sports Center (WDSC) is a state-of-the-art facility located at 4180 North Orion Boulevard in Orlando, Florida, United States. Opened in August 2003, it serves as the home for the UCF football program, as well as the main sports medicine facility and strength and conditioning centers for the athletics department.

The 44,000 square-foot facility includes a 4,000 square-foot locker room, theatre-style meeting auditorium, and coaches' offices for the football team. The sports medicine facility is equipped with the latest aquatic technology, including a Swimex pool, chiller pool, and ground-heated massage pool. The strength and conditioning center features top-of-the-line equipment, cardio machines, and a mix room for nutritional supplements.

Adjacent to the Wayne Densch Sports Center is the Nicholson Fieldhouse, the first indoor facility of any Division I football program in Florida. It boasts a 120-yard regulation playing surface with Field Turf. The facility was made possible through contributions from the Wayne Densch Charitable Trust, UCF Student Government, alumni, and community members.

UCF President Dr. John C. Hitt commended the support of the Wayne Densch Charitable Trust, Nelson Ying, and UCF Student Government in making the facility a reality. He emphasized the importance of providing great facilities for UCF athletes, who are also students. John Williams, vice president of the Wayne Densch Charitable Trust, highlighted Wayne Densch's belief in the university and his commitment to giving back to the community.
