"This woman is an awful Doctor and a public health risk. I had to beg for a strep test and she only agreed to a rapid and informed me she would not be sending it in for culture. She also told me that even if it was positive she would not treat my daughter for strep because she had already been on an antibiotic for strep and it would resolve itself. It didn’t and my daughter’s strep came back. When I called after hours because of the strep reoccurrence, she happened to be the doctor on call and refused to believe that it could be strep. She tried to convince me that my daughter had mono instead. This was over the phone without looking at her in person or checking her charts/history. She reminded me that she went to medical school and I did not. When I tried to explain my child’s history and my research on the subject she told me she “knows more than google” and that I need someone more knowledgeable to interpret the material. If I had not been vigilant and seen a different doctor this woman would have let my daughter go untreated for strep (which has a list of other complications) and additionally infect those around her. Please do not trust her with your child’s health. She cares more about her own superiority than getting the correct diagnosis."
