"This is what I call perfect diner food. A classic greasy spoon vibe but with clean grease! The atmosphere is dated but that's its charm! We came here for a late breakfast. It wasn't too busy and we were seated and served promptly. Our server was nice and she kept our coffee cups full. I got the shrimp and fish and grits plate. The cheese grits were cheesy (yay! I'm usually sceptical because cheese grits tend to lack cheese when I order them.) The shrimp and fish were cooked perfectly and it was delicious. My partner got biscuits and gravy and a side of onion rings that were cooked perfectly. If you want some perfect onion rings, go ahead and get them here! They were delicious and cheap for the amount we got! All in all, this place is worth the visit."

"My friend and I came down for a vacation and ended up stumbling upon this establishment our first day in the area. Every day of our trip we stopped in for breakfast after that. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The service, absolutely exceptional. Very very sweet ladies. Lastly the customers, they were all very nice. Everyone made us feel welcome and at home. We had the honor of meeting the upstanding owner who was so genuinely invested in his business and workers. Learning the history over the course of the few days there and meeting all of these amazing people turned out to be the highlight of our trip. I have nothing but fondness for this establishment and happily recommend it to EVERYONE."

"Worth the wait! Went Sunday morning and the place was packed but the host said he could get us in quicker that the line looked… and did! My son ate two breakfasts, he is Stationed at NAS, Marines can eat! Love the history, like walking back in time! Good food, the French Toasts was the better than my mom’s! Look forward to returning in the off-season where I can absorbe the history and sit at the 1945 breakfast counter…"
