"It’s frightening as a patient when you encounter a condescending doctor who lacks the ability to be compassionate. Dealing with cancer was hard but dealing with Dr. DaSilva hands down made my entire families experience significantly worse. I am so extremely happy we never used him, especially considering he was very, very wrong about his diagnosis. Dr. DaSilva was convinced he had to open my chest cavity to remove a substernal thyroid mass AND redirect blood flow by playing Dr. Frankenstein with my arteries/veins. The best part of this story is NONE OF WHAT HE SAID WAS CORRECT! He was even wrong about where the tumor was located! I can’t tell you how uncomfortable he made me feel, after delivering horrifying news, I was surrounded by 4 of members of the staff who had a front row seat to him deliver further condescension. Please, please, please find another location if you care about the quality of your care. On a side note, my very first appointment with Dr. DaSilva required waiting in the lobby for 3 hours, only to be told that he can’t see us once because I did not have a CD of my scans. Which is beyond ironic because his team never even asked me to bring a scan and the appointment was made over 2 months prior. Dr. DaSilva lacks a human touch!"
"Dr G and his staff are amazing. Had my procedure 5 weeks ago and ended up to be more complicated then what was expected. Was discharge today and no stitches or staples left. Now long healing process.. I highly recommend him and his office They make the process effortless. Thank you Dr G. You all rocked it---!"
