"I wouldn't take my dog there. They don't care and it shows. I had a doctor tell me that I had cancer before any tests were taken! This was based solely on significant weight loss. The Prescription Pad is their cure for everything, no matter how badly the meds screw you up. In my opinion as a former patient, Dr. Plaza was useless. One of my favorite rituals when I used to go there, was the nurse walking me past the scale. We would get in the office and she would say to me, do you know about how much you weigh? This is after usually waiting for somebody else to finish being weighed by their nurse. I'm a senior citizen and DAV, and I have no health care."
"The lady on the phone did not want to spend the time when I was trying to explain my issue. She was a little rude and hung up on me. They need to understand they work for the veterans that are coming to this clinic and not think that the veterans are people who are asking for hand outs. If you don’t like your JOB find another place to work at."
"They are a little clueless at times. I waited at the counter for 20 minutes just trying to checkout and make my follow up appointment. The guy kept changing his story and blaming the computer, but I could tell it was user error. I then made the mistake of agreeing to let them just call me later to schedule it so I could go. I remembered two days later that I hadn’t been called, so I spent the next TWO WEEKS trying to call, always to voicemail, and no one ever returns the call. I eventually just drove back up there to make the appointment in person. And, next appointment, checking out with the same guy again, he tried the SAME thing again! I told him what had happened before and that I wasn’t leaving until the next appointment was made. The two doctors I see there are decent, but the support staff is awful!"
"I have had one urgent appearance and several scheduled appointments at this location. I've also utilized the phlebotomist services man times. I've always found the staff to be helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous."
"The new location for this clinic in Deltona, is much nicer, mainly due to the far greater size, than the old clinic in Orange City. The waiting room is much larger, but on this first visit the TV wasn’t yet working. The lab has to be three or four times as large as the old one. Instead of two walk up service windows there are now four. This is a much nicer facility than the old."
