"I moved to Florida from New York, so I'm used to a very fast-paced life. I expected the process of being retrained, since home health aide licenses can't be transferred, to be slow and uncomfortable. But right from the jump, I could tell this was going to be an experience like no other. Immediately, just on the phone, Rosa made me feel calm, comfortable, and prepared. She informed me about everything I would need and everything that would take place in the class. She provided a forward explanation of what I needed to know to be okay and equipped to get through the class successfully. Because of her, making me feel so comfortable, I decided to visit the same day. I got there around 3:30 in the afternoon to sign up and pay for the class. That following weekend, I started my CNA rapid weekend course at Velma's. Velma is hands-on, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about what it takes to create and maintain a wonderful CNA health career. I feel prepared and ready to take my CNA test, and I also feel prepared and ready to become a home health aide because the CNA prep refreshes you as well. Overall, the school is clean, and the employees are nice, extremely helpful, and very dedicated. It's a wonderful learning environment. The classrooms are not too big, and even my classmates, to my surprise, were wonderful. I'll never forget my class.I would definitely recommend this course. The teachers at Velma's are exceptional, and their dedication to teaching is evident. They have a deep understanding of the subject matter and effectively communicate it to the students. Their guidance and support throughout the course have been invaluable. Additionally, I would highly recommend the curriculum. It is well-structured and covers all the essential aspects of becoming a competent CNA. The material is presented in a clear and organized manner, making it easy to grasp and retain the information. The hands-on approach of the curriculum ensures that students gain practical skills and experience, which is crucial in this field. Overall, Velma's course, the teachers, and the curriculum have surpassed my expectations. If you are looking to pursue a career as a CNA, I wholeheartedly recommend this course. It provides a solid foundation and equips you with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the field of healthcare."
