"I went to this school for 2 years. They messed up on my transcript and almost cost me my graduations because my counselors never mentioned it. "As an alumni of Cypress Creek (Class of 2002) I give my thanks and applaud the many senior instructional staff for their instrumental hand in my development as not only a gifted professional but a young man finding his place in a diverse and rapidly changing community. Similar to the finest collegiate institutions in the region, the didactic learning environment offers any student the opportunity to excel through rigorous academia at advanced levels such as Honors, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Dual Enrollment. For a select few an off campus Executive Internships with local Fortune 500 Businesses or nationally recognized hospitals becomes a good link for networking and recommendations into postsecondary education. The only thing that is more diverse than the student body is the variety of extracurriculars. With arenas in athletics and the arts, a strong competitive spirit runs rampant in the many clubs, groups, teams and organizations sponsored by the administration. As I often reminisce over dinner and drinks with friends from high school, there is often a good story for every epic fail. Yet these cherished memories I often look back upon will lead me to my advice for every Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Cypress Creek Bear that may stumble upon this review: Like every opportunity you will encounter in life, you will only take from this moment as much as you want to. You will only be as great as you want to be. So grab and take as much as you can during these four years, from the selfless instructors who stand before you each day for two hours. Listen to and learn everything they are willing to teach you, ask as many questions as you can until you can question no more! Most importantly have fun but remember these years will shape the rest of your life. What you do now will determine what you do later and no school, club, sport or teacher will be responsible for any of your successes or your failures... ONLY YOU WILL. Good Luck - Bears."
