Kings Roadhouse Bar & Grill

"Wow! I was amazed.... It looked busy when we got there, and pretty full inside. We got seated right away, and the menu was on the table to look at. First thing we noticed was it was very clean. The decor was nice, plenty of TV's but not overwhelming. They must use some kind of noise reduction surfaces as it wasn't super loud. I ordered the Kings burger. We got our food in less than 10 minutes. It was perfect. Definitely fresh hand formed and a perfect medium. The bun was perfect. The service was perfect, thanks Nicole! The only thing I could recommend is maybe change the name to Kings "Perfect" Roadhouse."

"It was Valentine’s Day and we were not sure what to expect because it had new owners since we were there. Wow. We got in quickly. Clean. Thats a huge plus for us. Our waitress was Nicole who was very personable and went over the menu giving details of good choices. We had decided we wanted s burger before choosing this restaurant and the burgers were beyond delicious. The bun was big and fresh, kinda like a pretzel bun. Both of our burgers came with fries. If you want a good meal with large portions , this is a must on your list."

"We walked in and were greeted by Emily. She was amazing. The green tomato appetizer was so good. The ribs amazing and the potato salad the best. We live in Ft Myers, but we will come back monthly to eat AND see Emily. Oh, the espresso martini was the best!"

"Was there on a Wednesday place was pretty full I think it was a women's group. Got a seat at bar and ordered drink. Wanted a good half hr. which was fine for how busy they were. Placed our orders we had 6 people. When food came out was hot and looked great. I had shrimp blackened green beans & bacon and tater tots It was excellent. Would definitely go back"

"We arrived at King's Roadhouse Bar and grill, at 2200 Kings Hwy, Port Charlotte, shortly after they opened to have lunch and were promptly seated and given menus. Rainy, our server, asked if we wanted anything to drink and while she was gone, we looked around and saw that the place was spacious and clean. There was not smell of beer or liquor and the the restrooms were clean and well-stocked. Rainy brought our drinks and explained the specials. Today was Fish Fry Monday! My wife chose that option and I ordered a Double Classic American Smashburger. Before long, we received our food. My wife's plate contained more fish that our server said and she explained it was because the portion size seemed small to the chef. My Classic American burger was delicious! I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best tasting burgers EVER. My wife thought that her meal was delicious as well and there was more than enough food. My wife could not even finish her fries. Rainy was a very good server and stopped by several times and asked if everything was to our liking and asked if we needed anything else. We will certainly be back. The menu seems extensive and from what we tasted, we were very satisfied with the taste, portion size and freshness! If you are ever on King's Highway south of Midway, stop in and see them. They have different specials daily and the food is good. I think you will like it as much as we did!"
