"Hostess must have been new and had no idea what she was doing. Our waitress was great. Overworked and stressed but very positive attitude and attentive. My meal was good, but my husband's fish was way overcooked. Not the best experience last night but that is not the normal. Would have been nice to see management out helping"

"My husband and I have not been to a Red Lobster in years. I had a taste for lobster so we decided to stop in at the Red Lobster in Port Charlotte, Florida. Our waiter was very nice as well as the rest of the staff. My husband had shrimp that was dry and over cooked. I had the lobster with orzo rice. The lobster was over cooked and there was no orzo in the orzo rice. Only rice that was completely dry with no flavor. Needless to say we won't be back."

"Wonderful experience! When I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles and friendliness. The waitress and a young lady she was training waited on me and both of them were very nice and helpful. The restaurant is very clean with a nice atmosphere. I didn't have to wait too long to be served with very good and tasty food. Red lobster seems to have specials everyday as well as their regular menu. My whole experience was very enjoyable and I was greeted again as I left. I would definitely recommend Red lobster in North Port, Florida."

"Last Friday we decided to try something we have not tried in a long time.  We went to the Red Lobster in Murdock Circle at 1331 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte.  We were pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and we were seated promptly.  Our server, Jailene, brought us our menus and got us our drinks.  She was professional and helpful.  We asked about the Shrimp Your Way and after she explained to us how it worked, we both decided to get that.  My wife ordered Coconut shrimp and Walt's Favorite a and I ordered the Crispy Dragon Shrimp and coconut shrimp as well. They brought us a complimentary basket of biscuits, which were delicious.  When they brought our meal. it was obvious they had my order wrong because instead of coconut shrimp, they brought me Walt's Favorite.  Our server apologized and quickly corrected the error and I got my coconut shrimp.  By the way, the Crispy Dragon Shrimp was fantastic and the pineapple sauce they served with the coconut shrimp was to die for.  We were very happy with our meal and with the professional staff that handled our service.  I feel it is a really good option.  It is not fancy and the prices are reasonable.  Even though they are a chain, they are a solid place to enjoy yourself.  I would recommend them with a 4 out of 5."

"My husband treated me to a surprise "date night" in order to enjoy their "Endless Shrimp" special. Unfortunately, they were out of two of the six choices of servings, but the four choices left were more than adequate and very delicious, and well prepared and presented. Our waitress, Marina, was a dynamo - on top of everything and everybody in her section - and doing it all quickly, with a brilliant smile and a bubbly personality. We truly enjoyed our meal, and the leftover bag for today is going to be devoured (Marina even added two extra biscuits)!"
