"We enjoy Carrabas and it’s always a safe bet for some hearty food and a decent glass of wine. It’s been a while since we’ve been into the Port Charlotte location and it’s looking really tired. The AC vents need a good clean, the interior needs painting and it’s just looking a bit drab. Service was as good as it always is, food was great. The owners need to step up."

"It's too bad I have to write this, but my last experience with the food was horrible. I ordered a side caesar salad. It was dripping in dressing, way too much. It made the salad taste limp and soggy. Next, I asked for a side of 2 meatballs and I got 2 dried out, over cooked, half sized meatballs. I had to send them back. Next I ordered a chicken dish with some dry rub on it. Well let me tell you it was dry! The chicken was overcooked with dry rub and nothing else. The Fettuccine Alfredo had little to no Alfredo sauce on it, and what was on it tasted like buttered egg noodles. I really hope the right people read this and make the changes. I really want to he able to come back for another try. Hopeful... Update.. I am no longer hopeful. They use the same reply for every review. It's obviously a bot they use and just shows they do NOT care! Back to Olive Garden it is!"

"We have been to Carrabas at Tiger locations, and it's been on, but here, it's been a pleasant surprise. We sat at the bar the first time we came, and the bartender was great and very attentive to us. The food and drinks were great. Since then, we have continued to come back."

"My husband and I went to Carrabba’s Italian Grill for our anniversary tonight. It is a Saturday and we arrived about 5 pm but we had no trouble getting a booth seat. We ordered an appetizer of calamari from Tia our waitress. It was delicious! Nice big pieces and a large portion too. My husband ordered a new item listed on the menu of Filet & Shrimp Pasta Toscana. As you can see from the picture it was a lot of food. He was very pleased. It was delicious!! I ordered Rigatoni Campagnolo with gluten free pasta. It was delicious as well. Since Tia noticed our anniversary cards she gave us a yummy piece of cake for the two of us to share! It was a wonderful dinner. Definitely our go to restaurant!!"
