Denny's

"It's been literally years since we went to Dennys. The last time we were there it wasn't a good experience, and the restaurant was fairly run down. We decided to try them out on 12/14/23. The restaurant looks like it's been renovated, and no longer looks run down. The food was hot and tasty, and Christian was a really great server, and was on top of things! We will definitely go back."

"Today a couple of friends and I went to Denny's at 1340 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte. We went there at 1:00. It's the first time that I have gone to this particular Denny's, but this is a pretty popular place back in Minnesota where I came from a little over 3 years ago. The first thing I noticed was there were not many people in the place even though it was a little past lunch rush, but to be fair it was a Sunday afternoon. The place appeared clean and bright and we were told we could sit anywhere in the middle section. We chose a booth. The server brought our menu items and took our drink orders. Coffee all around for the 3 of us. Delicious coffee, by the way. The menu was extensive and had many options. One quirk was they were advertising Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes, but they had no pecans. The server explained they were switching out to their new menus, but that was happening Monday or Tuesday and he apologized. Apparently they had pumpkin pancakes, but no pecans. I ordered a Denver omelet to get around the faux pas. The food was good. I would give it a solid 3.5 out of 5. Servers were polite and attentive. The experience was not bad and I will probably be back. I will update the review if I discover anything else, but I must say that if you have not gone there, you should try it out. It is a good eating option in Port Charlotte."

"Pretty sure the eggs were bad. Bad service, bad cook. The french toast was drenched in grease. This place used to be the best. You know what they say, poop rolls down hill. Totally a managerial problem, no quality control."
