"Booked my reservation over the phone with Uhaul on Monday. Was told I qualified for 1 month free rent if I also reserved a 1 way uhaul truck. I reserved the unit and truck. Thursday morning I get a call from Becky the GM at West Newnan Uhaul that she will no longer honor the promotion that Uhaul offered me because she only had 2 units left to reserve and had several other people interested in the units. That I would need to go ahead and pay for the unit even though I am not moved in. I would also not get my 1 month of free rent due to the low availability. It is a total bait and switch scam. She told me to read the fine print. There was no fine print when I scheduled the reservation on the phone. I even looked at my email confirmation and it is not on there either. I got the receipts to back up my story. I ended up going with Newnan Self Storage. Got a bigger unit for less money than what Becky charged. Don't fall for this bait and switch scam."
