"I was approved for this place the 1st week of June. Moved in the last week of June. What I could not understand in all my years of property leasing and management is why they were not ready for my move in. 1st. My move in keys were not ready it took me over a week to get a mailbox key. Apparently it was my fault because they normally don't move in people until 2 pm .....my fault for trying to pick up my keys on a Friday at 12 pm on my lunch break because i told them I would be several weeks prior...... glad I didn't actually move in to that Monday ................. but I wanted to have my keys to freshen it up that weekend 2nd. The path to my move in was filled with cigarette butts and they are still there so that means no grounds person and the breeze way is filthy and yet to be clean as of today. Now the pool was disgusting, however it was cleaned but it never open for the season. Not to mention they didn't make sure unit was move in fresh .... you know sweep up the dead bug left over from pest control or what not. Every leasing agent should have a little bucket with cleaning supplies and air fresheners to make sure your show unit or move in unit is ready. 3rd. I ask them to remove all the cable / dish network wires all over the apartment...... I get there and they are still there and she said oh we left them for you 4th. Oh don't let me forget my rent and water amount was incorrect but I was suppose to be OK with it ....... your mistake opps was basically what they told me in the beginning ...... I was sooooooooo upset because I had been CALLING for two weeks trying to get my dang prorate until I finally calculated it myself based off the rent originally told to me. ( they did fix that like they were doing me a favor but they fixed it non the least) 5th. Back to the Walk thru ---- there is a name written in cursive on my laundry room door ----I asked about the slight dents--- just wanted to know if it were normal wear and tear and if that could be noted ---- she said oh this a new door..... I said no ma'am it has WILLIAM written on it so it can't be new???? Why lie when the truth will do???? plus remember I just said it has slight dents..... nothing major but can u come paint it or something???? Has that been done NOOOOOOOO! 6th. 2nd Bedroom Door has a horrible Patch job ---- I said can they smooth it out and repaint it or something..... she said we will just replace it.... OK cool..... Well it is August that was June is it replaced NO! It cannot possibly take months to order a door..... secretly they could just smooth this one out and repaint it!!!!!!! Just repair correctly I mean what is the issue. 7th. I have a draw in my kitchen I cannot open ----- requested it open several times ...... still waiting SMDH! 8th. I came home one day and almost had a heart attack because I thought I had been robbed. Then I realized someone had been in the home to switch out electrical outlet. However in the process the ransack my kitchen. It was a horrible experience I'm still confused and my kitchen and bathroom were dirty??????!!!!!!!!! Come to find out other homes were done the same way. You get what you pay for! 9th. When I try to address my concerns they just brush them off as if I am bothering them.... I pay slightly over a 1000 in rent so you would think I would have better quality service. I personally think they are use to a certain type of resident and try to treat everyone with the same low quality or something. It is what we call in this industry a C to a D property. Although it has B potential if they started to care and expect more from the tenants. They are borderline slum lords because i can't get any request taken care of. 10th. My AC wont go off on Auto just runs forever ----- requested last week haven't heard from anyone. 11th. When my lease is up I will be most likely moving ......I rather pay more to live in the city somewhere else. I want better Customer Service, better maintenance response time, a pool that you can get in and cleaner grounds. Otherwise what am I really paying for....."
