"When I first heard about 2305 killearn apartments I didn’t hear too many good things about it. When I first applied it was hard to get someone on the phone to communicate with. Eventually, we was accepted and moved in. The apartments are spacious, but needed some upgrades. We had a massive fruit fly problem. It’s clear that it was a past problem because when we moved in there was multiple fruit fly traps. We done the best we can to keep them away but they kept coming.Tried to use the gym once, but everything doesn’t work in there which was sad. The pool was green for half of the time I was there. The trash would pile up badly. They should add at least one more dumpster. Our AC was a continuous problem at the beginning. The washing machine also was broke for over a month, so we had to pay to use the washing machines in the facility, but we still had to pay for the washer and dryer fee even though we gave them a notice about it almost every other day. They change management pretty often. There was always a new face. The current management was not as bad as the past management, but still have somethings to improve on. Moving out was not terrible. They did give me the renewal letter one day before it was due which I feel wasn’t enough of a notice, even though of course the renewal letter was mentioned in the contract I signed. I just wished we at least received the notice 1 to 2 weeks beforehand. The last guy I met in the office was nice. The maintenance guy was also a pretty nice guy. It’s a nice area and quiet place, but it wasn’t maintained good. My advice to the future resident take pictures and write down everything that is damaged when moving in, keep your space clean because if not roaches will come."
"Or just forward the mail like you should have in the first place when i’ve already asked twice. Or fix my AC that’s been out for months. Or be transparent about hidden fees. Or not throw away the only key you gave me to my front door. Or make sure I have all my blinds in upon move in. Or patch up the holes and rusty sinks upon move in. Or !!! maybe don’t allow 5 feet high trash piles. Or fix the green pool. Or have competent workers who don’t just lie to your face. Or fix the stairs that are about to fall apart. Or just bring in the mail that clearly has no association with its current resident and forward the address like you said, and not crumble it up and throw it in my mail box just to be petty. All that time you spent circling and crossing out her name, could’ve been delegated to idk UPDATING THE FORWARDING ADDRESS. OR JUST MAYBE not be a petty leasing agent and just do your job. seems like no one in the office can :) !!"
