"I was told that I have to make 3 times the rent just to move into a 3 bedroom apartment which rent for $740 yet, my income is $1985. But, they told me that it's not enough and turn around and told me that they do accept section 8. I'm like really these people can take section 8 yet, tell me that I don't make enough. Can someone please make that make sense to me because it sounds like blatant discrimination."

"These are grimey shiesty ppl that will do whatever it takes to screw over there tenant when you’re ready to leave. They will flat out lie not to give your deposit. The manager casey flat out lied on the move out inspection report to take 100 dollars away from my deposit and then she flat out lied about me not giving 7 days notice when i left when i called her midldle of the previous month before i moved on the moved out on the 28th of that month. That was another bogus 147 dollar charge. And then another 60 dollar charge they say they always do for God knows what. These ppl are the definition of dishonest. Even her boss karen down at chastain properties told me i should have been there for the inspection and “did what was in my best interest” even though i was not given a date for the inspection and they purposely sent the letter after the 5 day mark where i can reevaluate her inspection. Its all a sick game to these people. Me and my girlfriend spent all day and night making that apartment look better than the condition that i got it in and I have the videos to prove it. I will see what options I can pursue to hold these ppl accountable for their predatory ways"

"And just to provide an update, I was able to purchase a home based on my current credit which is not perfect while Chastain tried to use that as an excuse not to rent to me and my family. I would not recommend these folks to anyone to rent from. They are completely unreasonable and they changed their tune after my sister added her information to our application because of the issues they had with my deceased mother in law. The office manager is completely unprofessional, disrespectful and does not need to be in the position she is in."

"Myself,Husband and Sister did application was denied then approve however. I notice I was left off the lease my rental history is the same as husband, I just got pre-approval for a home loan and I also recently started working at a school ( I'm not a bad person) . I sold my house and I thought Flatrock property will be a good location for a year while taking a break from the housing market. I'm willing to pay 6mos to a year but that's alot a money and I have nothing stating I can live there I need help to correct this issue or the property will need to be lease to someone else.
