"It iş very sad and very poor performance as well as attitude of your team. They response very late for a very little complain. They come after several reminders, even it consists for few minutes to rectify but their response time take days or even week. On follow up, we have been told that we are running short of staff. Also they never tell true picture says maintenance guy will be there in 15 or 20 minutes but nobody appears waiting for long. Since previous management gates are broken and our safety and security is in jeopardy no body is bother. You telephone system is so poor most of the time nobody pickup the phone shift automatically on recorded line after telling all options it take 5 or 6 minutes when we tell our problem, we receive answer “ sorry we can’t hear you”. Many times dumpsters gets start overflow from Thursday till Monday and trash comes on to road side and it gets stinking and leaving bad impression to our guests but no one bothers and enjoy with their off and holidays. In new scenario, 5 weeks ago we had water problems draining from upstairs and my almost entire apartment was full of water except master bed. Monday they fixed 8-10 heavy duty machines to dry it, it took 2 weeks to dry. It was a mess by that time and we had to live with it. My guests room and laundry area was without electricity, guests room is a study room also for my kids and they were forced to study in our room, they had exams also on those days. I informed your people in person after every day or second that pls rectify my electric work, I was told that we are hiring people from outside they will do, I replied, it has nothing todo with outside, it will be done through your people, After 3 weeks and 4 days electrician came from office and done within one hour time for which we had to suffered 3 weeks and 4 days, during this I was made so many promises and commitments but all were stand on lies. Now 5 weeks gone and for the last 2 and a half weeks they are again promising to repair work today or tomorrow brokrn roof of my master room and guest room wall what they cut but nothing has done every body enjoying as I said earlier with their holidays. Your Manager has given compliments to me on my patience and cooperation but at a result your maintenance staff misbehave, jumped to beat us in front of your Manager why I come for complain and has been tonting from behind too. There are so many things which can’t be covered. They are active in getting rent they don’t delay. In this scenario do you deserve rent."
"12/2: coming back on here again since this new company is clearly incompetent. I’ve been calling & sending emails and no one ever responds. Maintenance have came out to my unit WELL after July 2022 (as stated from said owner who lied) & a request for a new stove & fridge was put in 3 MONTHS ago. Why lie saying it’s “in the works” if it’s not .. it doesn’t take 3 months for something like this. Also, the gates on both sides have been broken for some time now & this property is ALWAYS dirty. (See pictures) I don’t even invite people over because I’m ashamed of how the property looks. It’s pitiful. I’m in the process of filing a formal complaint & showing these pictures to the news though :) Update : 9/2023 : This review still stands the same. It’s ridiculous how unprofessional every single last person who works here is. They also keep adding extra charges to my account and every time I call to ask, they either don’t answer the phone or when they do claim they can’t answer my questions because “management isn’t around.” If I can give ZERO stars I would. The trash area is still ALWAYS dirty. Grounds are not kept up. The hallways haven’t been cleaned in God knows how long. DO NOT MOVE HERE! I’ve never hated a place more in my life. Old review: New management is horrible. They never answer the phones. You have to call and put in the same maintenance requests MULTIPLE times for anyone to come out and the property is always dirty. They came and did some work on another unit in my building and left huge bags of trash and paint all over the hallways. The trash/furniture disposal area is always overflowing onto the sidewalk & it’s extremely tacky because that’s the first area you see when you come through the gate."
"I didn’t post everyday so I just wanted to update y’all. I moved. They did not fix anything until I moved. My son is still suffering from breathing issues due to mold… which I did tell them about… I’m not sure if I mentioned it before but a bird did fly in my apartment due to them leaving huge holes in my sons room. Also had roaches everywhere. And I know it’s them because my new place has none and I have not changed my cleaning regimens. I don’t care if the rent is $20 , do not move here. This is coming from a nurse. .This place has effected my mental and physical healthy. Their attitudes are also disgusting. I’m not one to leave reviews but I pray they go out of business so no one has to deal with being mistreated on many levels."
"I had to come back on here and edit my comments based on how I have been treated during the application process! I would give them zero stars if i could. Any goodwill or positiveness I had for this staff has totally been destroyed as I am having my application processed, I can’t even get the staff to return a call and let me know the status of said application. I was told apartment would be ready on Friday. After not returning a single call, I call the office and ask for a supervisor and what do you know, I get a call back to tell me that because the person who processes the applications quit, I will not be able to move in until the following Friday! Well I guess they don’t care that what they do or don’t do based what they tell you has repercussions on people’s lives! If all looks well, but they can’t produce results, that is not a good thing! I guess they don’t mind affecting peoples lives! Absolutely deserve zero stars! So here we are the Tuesday after the Friday I was told I would be able to move in. I have went and looked at, started the application process, and already have a date to move in and still have not heard back from Brentwood Downs. I guess the new management only cares about style over substance and think just because they have redone the office area and talk nice, that means they can over promise and under deliver on something as simple as completing a potential residents' application process. Anyone thinking about dealing with them, please be aware that whatever dates and times they give you is probably not going to happen. If they are this bad during the application process, I can only imagine how bad they treat you after you have signed your lease. My overall suggestion would be to take your business elsewhere and don't deal with them. And it continues to get better (not really)! So after all the waiting and being IGNORED and no communication from Kari, as stated above I applied and was approved at another property, so an e-mail was sent to Kari stating we were no longer interested. Guess who we get a call from this morning saying everything was good to go and we could move in today! When she was told “no thank you, we don’t want to live there,” she used the application and processing fee not being refunded as a way to try and convince us to move in. So she had no issue costing me more money by stringing out the process, but used not being refunded those fees as a means to try and convince me to move in! If you are thinking about this place, DON’T DO IT!"
