1322 North

"1322 has been the worst place to live. I usually don’t write reviews but this one needed to be written. We chose this place because of how the employee really talked about how quiet it was and how she loved living there, she was only there for a couple weeks and then we never saw her again. We moved in at the end of May and that first weekend were woken up at 1am to banging and running on the floor, mind you we’re on the second floor. I called the office the next morning just to see if they could notify our upstairs neighbors that someone did move in downstairs. The noise got so much worse and we called the office multiple times and even had to go upstairs and ask them to please quiet down. It took for the old manager to be out of town and someone higher up than her for something to be done, they moved them to a bottom unit. Fast forward a couple weeks and someone moved in upstairs, no big deal. We then noticed it was someone different each weekend. Again being woken up at 2am, called the office and the new manager said she would notify them of quiet hours, this happened 3 times. We thought it was strange having different people each weekend so we looked at air bnb website and sure enough, he was renting it out and still nothing was done except a violation notice was put on his door and yet new people came that weekend. They have went through numerous managers and employees since we’ve moved in, in May. It took my husband and I going into the office numerous times to get them to let us out of our lease early because of how awful it’s been. There’s been issues of trash being all over the community and when I called it still took them 3 days to pick it up. The 24 hour tow is a lie, I called to get someone removed because they were parked outside our building with no permit to be there and they said the tow truck would be around to get it. I had to call the tow company myself to get it removed. Our neighbors have had bug issues since they’ve moved in and they’re getting out of their lease early as well, if that doesn’t show something I don’t know what does. So many issues and no resolutions. I will say Amanda the new manager is definitely better but poor management and work ethic, would never recommend this place. Fast track to 1/30/2024 I'm, still waiting on my security deposit from them. Tried calling several times and left several messages and no response back. Also emailed Amanda personally and no response back. Finally, after weeks of trying I got Jane on the phone. She repeated herself 3 times and told me in the state of Alabama they have 60 days to return security deposits, no problem. I asked for Amanda to please call me first thing in the morning, she assured me she would but never asked for my name and number. When I asked her if she needed that information, she proceeds to tell me the old apartment number I lived in. I thought that was strange, so I then asked if I was on a do not answer list and with attitude and said no. If anyone was wondering I never received a call back from Amanda and I still do not have my security deposit. They did the same thing to our neighbors that had bug trouble and it took them reaching out to corporate to get what they needed. Looks like that will be my next step since no one in that office returns calls or emails. If this isn't a red flag, I don't know what is. I truly just don't want people giving their hard-earned money away to people like this, and having to live in conditions like this."

"Quiet, well kept community. The location is easily accessible to major highways, shopping centers, Medical facilities and restaurants. Office staff as well as maintenance staff has been polite and professional thus far. Maintenance Supervisor Jonathan and his crew are outstanding, always complete work order's request in a timely manner, issues are resolved the first time with no need for a return visit. Property is a bit pricey. However, I feel safe in this community and I recommend it to all family and friends."

"Haven't been here long, however I have no complaints. I've had several maintenance requests, they were handled promptly and professionally. The office staff is wonderful and the grounds are well maintained. The unit itself is modern and spacious with up to date appliances and fixtures. I can honestly say rent is worth every penny in this community. Only down side thus far is there is no valet trash or recycling in the community. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings"
