Reviews of The Breck Apartments
"It was a nice place until they were bought out and the prices were hiked up. The amount of vacancies is a red flag not a green one! Extremely hard to get ahold of the office should you need something, constant noise, and the apartments are outdated for what they charge. We used to pay 900ish and in one year that spiked to 1400 due to 'renovations' yet our apartment was still heavily outdated and filled with insects and spiders constantly. Roaches were practically our roommates. Please be wary of the good reviews from people who only toured the apartments and didn't rent, there are also promotions to give them 5 stars in return for things-- We lived there from 2021-2024 and there's a fee for practically everything. It was a wonderful complex when we first moved in but unfortunately once they shifted companies it went downhill fast."
"Under the previous management, we had drafty windows, roaches, and a bathtub and countertop that peeled, but it wasn't a big deal when you're paying less than 1000 per month for a quiet space with a great community and really kind front office staff. Since being bought out? Rent increased to 1300 for a non-renovated 1 bedroom, immediately upon lease renewal. They started renovating and selling themselves as luxary units but it's all really just a few appliance upgrades and a fresh slap of paint. The windows are still drafty, there's still pests, there's broken glass all over the complex. The water gets shut off consistently, regularly loses water pressure, sometimes comes out brown. The staff is almost impossible to get ahold of unless you show up in person and it's not about money. With them driving out the peaceful community that lived here prior? We started having noise issues, loud revving sounds, gun shots, people fighting in the hallways. And then, even for the unrenovated units, they raised the price again by another couple hundred dollars. Don't rent this place for the pretty new fridge and the peeling paint jobs."
"I wish they wouldn’t of confused us with the move in special. They told us $500 off first months rent and That was not the case maybe they needed to be more clear and say it was second months rent but we fixed that. The apartment kitchen cabinets have a smell to cigarette smoke and the cabinets are hard to open we requested them to change them and wondering when they will come do that hopefully soon. The guy in the front office MIKE was very helpful and professional we really appreciate his help. pest control came as soon as we requested him and he was also super nice and welcoming. I only been here 2 weeks so i cant really say its good or bad yet there are some things that need to be fixed but hopefully they dont take too long"
"Even though I didn’t lease here due to the expensive pricing. Michael was amazing and very knowledgeable about the property. He’s charismatic and is a honest leasing agent, which is hard to come by. If anyone is attempting to lease in this area, I highly recommend Michael! He surely won’t disappoint and will take great care of you and your housing needs."
"Despite the high prices, my experience with leasing agent Michael was fantastic! He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the property, and took the time to show me around and answer all of my questions. He even provided recommendations for other options that might better suit my budget. Michael's friendly and approachable demeanor made the whole process fun and stress-free. Although I ultimately didn't rent here, I highly recommend working with Michael for anyone in the market for a new apartment in the area."
