"Over a year ago there was a leak on the roof of the kitchen. The leak was not fixed correctly and this led to there being mold in the kitchen cabinets. Last night there was another plumbing leak in the kitchen, the water has now reached the dining room area and the mold has now reached other areas. I called management yesterday for them to fix the leak and was told they couldn't do anything about it yesterday. I urgently need this leak to be fixed as it is impairing me from living out my work responsibilities due to the emergency."
"EDIT: Beware, management has threatened legal action since the posting of this review. They have also tried to ban us going into their leasing office in person. Worst renting experience I have ever had. I have rented homes, apartments, lived with friends and family and this is by far the worst place I have ever lived. We have had a window that leaks, literally dumps, water into our apartment when it rains and it has not been repaired. It has been over 3 months since we notified them of the leak. We have shown them videos, pictures, and pointed to the location on a floor plan to show them where this window is and when they finally came to replace the window, they replaced the wrong one. The construction company shattered the window leaving broken glass in my bed and all over our carpet. They refuse to come see the window in person and give horrible directions to the construction company, which explains why it was done incorrectly. Not even mentioning the leaks coming from upstairs and the horrible roach problem. Silmarie Guzman has been the property manager since we have lived here and she has never once apologized to me for how awfully they have handled this situation. We have been gaslighted about this as well, being told that "when you own a home, no one will be there to replace your window for you", we have been lied to for months regarding when someone will come by and when we need to be home for them to complete this window replacement. There has been no attempt to make this right and there has been zero remorse for how badly this has played out. Every time I have gone into that office she is conveniently not there... I will say their front desk host, Naomi, and their maintenance pro, Carl, have been the only helpful ones here. Naomi is pleasant but it is clear she does not have very much power to make these sorts of requests happen. Carl has also been helpful with general maintenance requests. I have waited to post a review to see how things would play out, but it is clear that this place is a dump, and the administration would be happier if you just broke your lease and left. I attached a picture of the window in question AFTER they "sealed the leak" the first time. They have also sealed the window so we can't use it at all. We pay over $2,100 a month for this unit, there is nothing "luxurious" about this place."
"The management style of this complex truly reminds me that the tenets’ conditions and needs are not a priority. This team is more focused on cutting budgets than actually resolving issues. The front desk associates have made it clear that their only job is to get people in the door. Good luck from there bc “I’m just the middle man”. It took one whole month for garbage to be cleaned near our building, it’s been since August that we had a window leak.. still no resolution. Our floorboards are totally uneven, causing furniture to wobble. The AC units are so old that our entire building has a plumbing/flood issue. Not a single shelf in our unit was drilled in properly, so all of my clothes fell to the floor one evening. The emails that are sent by the main office are poorly written and aggressive. We moved in late July/early August and have already submitted 11 maintenance tickets (not to mention the email threads). I’ve never experienced this before. So basically, if you like bugs, water damage, mold, poor maintenance, and no true help from the front desk, then this place is for you. Life is hard, and I would’ve expected more empathy and follow thru on service requests. The quality of these buildings is awful. It would be nice to know what work is being done to solve issues (pest control, etc). Also, the comments left on these reviews by management are a joke.
