Whispering Oaks Apartments

"I haven't even moved there yet i was trying to get prices and appointment scheduled to view the apartments and no one has been answering phones for 2 days or called back. After viewing the reviews i definitely will not consider moving here."

"I’ve lived here for four months, and am already making arrangements to terminate my lease. The cons of this complex outweigh the pros by far. The complex is very noisy at ALL hours of the day/night, the common areas aren’t clean, neighbors leave trash everywhere, too many misbehaved children, everything is old, no amenities, maintenance requests take a whole week to go through, bugs are everywhere even after having the apartment exterminated, It’s very common for the water to be shut off without warning the residents, and it’s rare that anyone is in the leasing office during business hours. l The only reason I chose to stay here is because I moved from out of state, and this was the cheapest apartment complex in the area I could find. As they say, “you get what you pay for.” If I could undo moving here, I would. There are many other complexes nearby. I’ve looked at several of them, and even though they’re more expensive than Whispering Oaks, most of them have good reviews. I hope to move into one of them in the near future, as I’m sure they would provide a much better living experience than Whispering Oaks. UPDATE: I posted photos with my review as proof of the horrible living conditions I’ve dealt with since moving here. I see those photos were removed. If you value your place of residence, please by all means, do not move here."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT DON'T RENT HERE UNLESS YOU'RE POOR 1,manager in the office she doesn't care about you or your maintenance problems 2. Maintenance man don't know what he doing like he doesn't have no knowledge in maintaining, can't never fix nothing in my apartment. 3. Everything in this apartment is very old like year 1800 4.YOU CAN'T EVEN PAY RENT HERE YOU HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE JUST TO PAY YOUR RENT. 5. I'm just waiting on my lease to be over."

"The new management that just took over the apartments is terrible. The manegar is never in the office and the maintenance man always has an attitude.I have reported maintenance issues and I have not recieved any helped at all. After living here for 3 years this has been the wrist experience living at the whispering Oaks under new management."

"Had a saturday noon appointment, because I was told that was the only way to see an apartment on a saturday. Arrived at 11:50, nobody was there. Waited until 12:15, still nobody was there. Another car pulled up, also with an appointment to pay. Still nobody in the office. They knocked on the door of the apt next to the office. The manager's son came to the door, let us know she was sleeping, and to please call on tuesday to reschedule. We told him we had appointments, he came back with the same story. We let him know it was unprofessional that she couldn't even come talk to us herself. I drove an hour to look at this apartment. If they are going to treat people like this before they are tenants, I definitely don't want to be a tenant."
