"It is interesting how my previous post about maintenance coming in my apartment and stealing $25k of jewelry while I was in the hospital last January no longer appears in the reviews. Management refuses to acknowledge or address the issue, even ehen a police report was provided. No one had a key to my apartment but me, and maintenance left the old shower head in my shower when the completed a work order. The guy that completed the order was fired, but the theft by their employee has been swept under the rug."
"Where do I even start. This was the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in, but here are the few things I liked: (1) Maintenance guys were friendly, (2) I liked the trees outside, (3) Nice big kitchen sink, (4) my neighbors were usually very quiet, and (5) The sweetest outdoor kitty lived by my building. That's literally all that I liked. I lived here from 12/2022 to 12/2023. From the beginning, my apartment was in horrible shape. Holes in the wall, spiders in every corner, piles of roach droppings in every cabinet. Moldy smell. THAT'S HOW THE APARTMENT WAS GIVEN TO ME. I had to deep clean the place myself before I could even stand to put any furniture inside. Half of the things I reported as broken on my move-in inspection were ignored- including a broken peephole (which would've been nice to have when my neighbors across the hall had cops called and were threatening to shoot eachother). The apartments are old, poorly constructed, and come with free infestations of spiders and roaches. I am a clean person and never left a mess uncleaned, yet I couldn't use the cabinet under the sink without touching spiders and once when I changed the batteries in the thermostat, I found roach carcasses INSIDE the thermostat control, along with all their poop. Every single air vent was caked in mold. I've never been so grossed out in my own home. The build quality is terrible, they just tried to paint over everything instead of cleaning (there was dog hair permanently stuck to my wall in the paint), and the "sunroom" is just an outdoor balcony that they added single-pane windows to. If you close the door to the sunroom while you're in it, you will lock yourself inside. How is that not a major safety hazard? The road noise was awful and there was nothing I could do about it because the windows were just paper thin. The breezeways outside the apartment were just as bad- don't look up if you don't want to see millions of spiders and their egg sacs waiting for you to walk through their webs. I was SO glad to get out of this apartment complex. I would say that management was alright despite everything else, but let's not even get in to the time that random "window inspector" men came into my apartment with no prior notice while I wasn't home and cut power to my indoor security camera, so I have no idea what they were actually doing in there. Management didn't offer any apology or response after I filed a complaint either! Not a great look for y'all. I was a young woman living alone and I felt IMMENSELY unsafe after that. RENTERS, LOOK ELSEWHERE. I promise you'll be glad you did."
"The staff made the moving process very smooth. Janelle was sweet and attentive and answered all my questions about the move-in process. The AC unit wasn't working when I moved in, but Kareem worked hard to make sure we had a window unit until the AC people could come out. Dyel/D has also been a fantastic maintenance worker; he has gone out of his way to fix any issues we've had. Great experience overall and happy to be here!"
"Although the apartment complex is very outdated, the maintenance staff is very good. They typically respond to requests very quickly and efficiently repair the issues. I do have to say that the garbage compactor area is always very dirty and can be an eye sore coming in and out of the community. Other than, I quite enjoy living here."
