"If you are thinking about moving here just know what you are getting yourself into. The office lady, if you ever get a hold of her,is very rude and it shows how she pulls up in here Mercedes. You WILL have all types of bugs, if something stops working, you should just call a professional to come fix it. They don’t respond to work orders until they feel like it a/c goes out frequently, but they want the rent on time and don’t care about your living experience all they want is your money. I thought I was just this location but I have a friend at the Dodd st location and she has some of the same issues. Overall new management is needed certified technicians and a clear easy way to get a hold of someone in the office to address problems. Literally the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. Motel 8 has better service then these people."

"I would not refer anyone to move here I stayed here for a few months and my first month here power kept going out then in July seen a lot of roaches sent them work orders on the app never came to bomb the place told me they will be out on Aug 22 . If the owners was to live here things would be done in a timely manner. Maintenance guys don't speak English just an over all bad experiences"

"I would not recommend promoting this company or it's properties. As a first time renter and current resident at Balfour forest apartments, I can confidently say that my experience with them has been traumatizing. Firstly, there's stray cats everywhere. You can't even leave your garbage on your back porch as stray cats will tear through them and then the leasing office will contact YOU threatening to charge you if you don't clean it up -yet they've done nothing about these animals. They demand timely rent payment and promptly send 3-day notices when rent is not paid on time, but cannot be this prompt with their own duties as I have had to go days in an 80 degree heat due to broken A/ C that took them days to come and "fix" (only for it to break again not even a week later). I have suffered hundreds of dollars in damaged appliances and groceries due to negligent repairs and faulty wiring. Neither the leasing office or corporation answers their phone ( most likely because of the slew of complaints residents have). Their maintenance men are unprofessional and likely uncertified ( I watched one pull up a YouTube video on how to fix my fridge) and I have yet to see them actually "fix" anything. Their leasing/management employees are unhelpful, unprofessional, and not dependable. Every time I ask how to file a formal complaint I'm ignored."
