"This is a very nice hotel. When pulling into the hotel I was greeted by Chris. He was very polite and helpful in unloading my vehicle. Logan also was very friendly, helpful and was always there when you needed help. What I witnessed at Nest Restaurant (inside you the hotel) who is a female runner who placed her back hand on someone food that was going out to them to eat. I said something to Both managers one pregnant female and short guy with short hair. That was so disgusting and nasty! The Nest restaurant was over pricey. The staff were so friendly, polite and respectful to everyone. Jackie, Tavin both front desk managers are very polite, will to help. David with security was walking around to make sure that everyone was safe while staying in the hotel. I wish that they had an indoor pool so I could have enjoyed it in the cold season. Overall it’s a good hotel that is brand new and just need to work out the kinks."
"The hotel is excellent. Fresh, has a great vibe and the property overall is class. The people are fantastic! Helpful, courteous, always with a smile. Makes you feel very welcome. Not to be missed…the strawberry croissant in the lobby store will change your life! Wow! Delicious!"
"This is a brand new hotel so I’m trying to be fair. However we arrived at 8 PM and were told that our rooms were not ready and that one of us might need to stay at a separate hotel. No one apologized nor did they offer to get us a complementary drink while we waited for our rooms. I ended up spending $75 having two appetizers and a glass of wine. The bar staff couldn’t describe what the appetizers were. One of our rooms was supposed to be a suite. But they didn’t have any available. We ended up in separate awkwardly adjoining rooms at 10:00pm! Also, be aware you cannot pay cash for anything at the hotel except, of course tips. It’s worth mentioning that the hotel is all brand new, which means brand new carpeting, this may be a problem for people who have environmental sensitivities."
"The property itself is clean, modern, and spacious. However, upon arrival, there was chaos as several people were waiting to check in. At 530pm I was told my room was available but not ready and I’d have to wait. I returned at 600pm to further discover after much discussion at the front desk that the 2 bed queen suite, which my family of 4 needed for a comfortable stay was not available. I was offered a single King suite. I stated this was unacceptable, a break of my prepaid reservation and contract and I’d take my reservation of 2 Queen bed suite or they could reimburse me some amount to take a King suite. The guy at the front desk literally told me he thought they booked rooms that were still under construction. What a mess. I got my 2 bed Queen after another 30 minutes wait or a solid. 2 hours past my guaranteed check in time at 400pm. And the manager at the front desk was not helpful and completely overwhelmed with the other 20 reservations in the lobby they couldn’t accommodate. The lack of leadership was evident, as staff members seemed ill-equipped to handle the situation, leading to a negative attitude among them. Throughout the stay, there were numerous issues, including several elevators not working, especially problematic during a dance convention with hundreds of families with small children and where waits could extend up to an hour just to get to your room. Additionally, there were frequent elevator outages, poor restaurant service despite high prices, and difficulties in getting basic amenities like coffee for our drink station. We got a knock on our door the first day of our stay at 500pm asking if we wanted room service? Well no not at that point we were back in our room from being gone all day. Just some new coffee is all we asked for. Never received it. Communication with the front desk was often unsuccessful, adding to the frustration. In all honesty I felt bad for the hotel staff for how terrible our weekend stay was going. it was clear that the hotel was not fully prepared for guests. Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I would hesitate to recommend this hotel until they address these operational shortcomings. The rooms and lobby our swanky though. Two out of five stars."
"My family and I spent part of the day next door at the Congress Center and on the way out my husband suggested we step inside just to see the lobby of the new Hilton Signia. We had seen ads on social media and the press about the opening. So we walked across the sidewalk. We were greeted by the valet very politely and as soon as we had one foot in the door a gentleman came quickly walking towards us. I thought he was coming to greet new customers. Oh was I wrong. He asked if we had reservations to which we explained we’re locals and had read about the opening and just wanted to see the lobby. He very curtly told us that the hotel was completely closed to anyone without a hotel reservation. To say the hotel was quiet is an understatement. There was plenty of room and space for him to allow us to see even the check in desk or to let my son tie his shoe, but no. We travel a good bit and have stayed and very nice hotels and we have never been “greeted” like that. Even our kids, who are old enough to notice things, couldn’t believe how curt the employee was with us. We have been diamond members for years and just recently switched loyalty to a different chain. This has just solidified our reasons."
