"It seems like the owners are content with just relying on this hotel's convenient location near the airport to fill rooms and not put any money into improving it. The internet is slow and unreliable, the fitness center is run down and sub-par, and the pool has been closed for years. The rooms are generally nicely furnished but the air conditioning is barely adequate, especially on the hottest days of summer, and it's not uncommon to have a slow draining bathtub or a shower that doesn't fully switch from the low faucet to high."

"I have had an opportunity to stay at the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Hotel twice within roughly six months. I have yet to have a great experience. My last trip was pretty abysmal. The rooms are just fine. They are spacious and comfortable. The bed is ok. In my last room the wash cloths were, lets say, well used. The check in was a terrible experience. I am a Marriott guy through and through with almost 900 nights under my belt, but if I cannot stay at the Gateway Marriott or Gateway Renaissance I will switch from Marriott at Atlanta International Airport to Hilton moving forward. The Concourse property will be a last resort for stays at ATL."

"The room was good and the bed was comfy. I felt like I got a good nights rest despite the crazy weather and being next to the airport. I didn’t think it was noisy. The toilets were hard to flush. The restaurant was way overpriced and a glass of wine was $16 which I thought was a too expensive. It’s a nice looking hotel, I used the shuttle to get around. I felt the staff were all very nice and attentive. I’d def visit again as my stay was clean and pleasant but temper your expectations."

"Great place to stay. Especially if you are a plane enthusiast like me! A great view of a runway with a balcony! I spent a long time just watching planes go by! I love the location but it's just a little inconvenient as it's around a 10 min drive from the airport even though it is right next to it. Either way, highly recommend!"

"Arrived and assigned to room 402. Upon walking in, the room smelled like smoke. We immediately notified staff and were reassigned to another room. We were told it was a balcony room and runway facing, so it seemed like it would be a better room. Well, the difference in noise level is much more than you would expect it to be. It is like you are standing on a runway. The view is really cool, but the sound of jet engines from planes taking off and landing several times per minute goes on all day and all night. I requested to change our room after one night of barely sleeping. I was told that no since we were already changed once that we were not allowed to change again since it’s after 12:00. We were at a cheer competition and just got back. To make it worse, this room still isn’t as clean or updated as most other hotels. There’s an odd stain in the floor, the balcony door won’t open because the lock is broken, and the shower is an old fashioned tub/shower combo."
