"TERRIBLE COMPANY! DONT BUY AN LG! We had our new LG washer 29 days when it completely flooded the laundry room. We had water damage to the floor and walls. Serve Pro had to come out and then we had to have new flooring installed as well. LG required us to use a certain repair company or it would void the warranty. It took repair man 15 days to come out, he was rude and before he even looked at washer said it was the fault of the installers and not the fault of LG. He said the report will state it was not LGs fault, so we would probably not be reimbursed by LG but we could try to get Lowes to reimburse the damage costs. It was very apparent he worked for LG and his main goal was to make it so LG didnt have to pay/reimburse us for anything. Luckily, we took a video of him opening the washer and it was clear two of the hoses had come loose - and hadn't been clamped down properly. He then said it looked like the washer had been tampered with but he conviently "forgot" to take pictures showing that the lid was "askew." When he realized we had a video of him openjng the washer he then says maybe the hoses came off during transport. His story/resoning kept changing to keep LG from having to pay. I've been calling LG for months, and the person who answers the phone says someone will contact me and they NEVER do. Called again recently and was told my case was closed without ever even speaking with us. Also, if you ask LG for a phone number or email for the person who's supposed to contact you, you are told there isn't one. All you can do is wait to be called by them, which NEVER happens. We are out about $1400 in repairs because of our bew washer, not to mention everything lost in the flood and the stress on me and my family. We're definitely done with LG."
"LG ThinQ Frig review. Below 1 star rating. Purchased at Home Depot 2.20.23 for $1,498. Delivered 3.4.23. Once plugged in, unit displayed an error code. Reset only worked for 24 hrs. Next day error code. Requested repair 3.14.23 Tech was unable to repair. LG sent MHIHS to repair it. MHIHS replaced a compressor using a torch 3.31.23. 8.7.23 unit stopped making ice and wouldn't keep food frozen. Platinum Services came out and said it needed a compressor 8.7.23. 8.22.23 Platinum noticed the evaporator had ice build up and that the compressor was installed incorrectly (welding). They stated they wouldn't work on MHIHS defective work. I called several times and emailed LG to figure out the next step which was, stop sending Platinum and send MHIHS. I've asked several times for a refund and keep getting the run around. I called LG yesterday and talked with Nick to get him straight. He said they would notify MHIHS and send a totally new certified tech to repair the frig. LG has been sending certified techs. I have to take off work for multiple ineffective appointments. My food is spoiling. Nick stated in 3 days, a "certified tech" will fix the frig. I wouldn't recommend this product seeing how it didn't work from the start and for 6 months and counting I've had issues with LG and their supposed "certified tech". Sadly, I told MHIHS don't repair it because the product is defective from the factory. He didn't listen and made one headache much larger. LG is incapable of doing what's best for the customer and will continue whittling away my warranty window."
"WORST COMPANY EVER! STAY AWAY! THEY ARE NOT WORTH OPNE PENNY, GIVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EQUIVALENT TO 0 AND THEIR FRIDGES ARE JUST AWEFUL;!!! SAVE YOURSELF TIME, MONEY, ENERGY AND BUY A DIFFERENT PRODUCT. THEIR CEO AND MANAGEMENT ARE GREEDY , TOO GREEDY AND SIMPLY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER WHATSOEVER. LOSERS!!!!!!"
"LG is the most dishonest company I have ever encountered in 40 years in business. The PTAC units are complete garbage. Service consists of broken promises and stonewalling. I purchased a new one in September 2020 and it arrived DOA.....poor quality control and no service and a refusal to take the unit back equals corporate greed at its worst. By the way LG.... I spent 21 miserable months along the DMZ in Korea just so you could have the freedom to turn out a substandard product to rip off the US consumer with trashy products, broken promises, and lies. I want my money back. By the way there is a class action lawsuit against you for these PTAC units that are catching fire. Do yourself a favor, PLEASE DONT BUY LG PRODUCTS .I invite LG TO RESPOND."
