"First time trying this place out. Food itself was just okay. Very strong vinegar smell and taste. Only ate maybe 1/4 the bowl and tossed the rest. The ants on the counter everywhere should’ve been my first red flag, but had already started ordering when I noticed them and decided to just roll with it. The staff were super friendly and helpful, though."

"Going to pokemoto I wasn’t sure what to expect. Here in Orange Park, food is REALLY hit or miss so I was cautiously optimistic. I’m SO glad we went. We got the salmon miso poke bowl and it was delicious. The fish was fresh, the rice was cooked well, and they have plenty of toppings to make it how you want it. The location itself was clean and the staff was very friendly. This is my new poke spot."

"Besides today, I have only had poke once and it was from Nautral Kitchen and wasn't too impressed. I decided to give pokemoto a try today because I have been seeing a lot of people talking about it on Facebook. Food was delicious and very fresh tasting. I ended up getting a bowl with sushi rice, tuna, salmon, and shrimp. For mix ins I got cucumber, jalapenos, onions, corn, and cilantro. After choosing spicy mayo as my sauce they mixed it with the protein and mix ins separately and then topped it on the rice which I thought was great. For my toppings I chose crispy onions, garlic chips, cabbage slaw, seaweed, and kani salad. FYI it was a lot of food and I could not finish it all, which never happens. Definitely will be coming back to try some new combinations and more of their sauces."

"Like nothing else around OP. Give this place a chance. We did and it was fantastic. If it’s not, you only have yourself to blame as the ingredients are fresh and you can customize the bowl to whatever you want for a very reasonable price. Sign up for their text specials and get your 1st bowl 1/2 price. There are too many options to list from White or Brown rice, proteins (Tuna, Salmon, etc), sauces, veggies, mix ins and on and on! Not sure about the flavor of an ingredient or sauce, just ask… they’ll give you a taste. Don’t want Rice, make it a Salad. Don’t have time to eat with utensils, make it a Burrito. It’s located in the corner of a strip mall. It is take out so the place is not big enough for sit down tables or chair. Don’t let this keep you from trying it out. It’s too good to pass up."
