Dr. Christina Radmer

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I have been told for years by my psychiatrist that a professional psychologist would be beneficial to my mental health. I finally make the time to see one (Dr. Radmer) and her ‘plan’ for me is to work on my diet (she will spend most of your visit talking about diet), exercise and incorporate stress relieving activities in my life, such as yoga. I find it very disconcerting that my hard earned money, and insurance money, was spent to be told things I am already aware of. Despite the disappointment of my first visit with her, I decided to keep the second one, because she seemed like a nice person, and maybe the second visit was the one where she would actually handle issues relating to past trauma in my life. However, my mother became Ill (was unable to watch my son for me). I immediately notified her I could not make the appointment (the day before the appointment) and yet I was still billed $75 for a late cancellation. Turns out her cancellation policy is that you will be billed (more than your copay) if you don’t cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment. The ironic part of that is, she called me at 8:30pm a night before my first visit to see if I wanted to pick up an earlier appointment time slot that had became available - and I did. Must be nice to benefit on both ends of a cancelled appointment. I suppose not only does Dr. Radmer expect you to pay her for providing you with common knowledge, she also expects you to pay her for an appointment missed due to your inability to foresee the future."
