"Can't even get past their questions to ask mine. They always hang up when I answer no to wether I have their insurance. I'm trying to GET their insurance. What a joke"

"Have not had BCBS for 3+ yrs, however, they still claim to be my minor's primary insurance. This blocks him from being able to use his actual insurance. It has been over a year long process to get BCBS off so he could have dental work (delayed by an extra 6+ months because of this), use his insurance for pediatric visits - and now, I can't use his actual insurance to fill his prescriptions because of BCBS STILL showing up as primary insurance for the pharmacy. It takes numerous calls and months to get anything changed - and then there is still always something else. Don't go on BCBS unless.you are ready to die with their subpar insurance, because it's impossible to get off or use another insurance after them. Oh, and good luck getting through to an actual human being when you call!"

"I have personally had the worst experience with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield compared to any other insurance company I've EVER had and I'm 57 yrs old! I suffer from a debilitating disorder and over the last yr Anthem's has dropped 2 critical medications from their formulary list. In addition, they also dropped several other meds that I relied on for other conditions. Don't even waste your time calling customer service. I spent almost 2 hrs on one phone and spoke with at least 4 different people on that call with NO results. Same for all my calls. Bottom line is they are NOT interested in patient care but only their bottom dollar."

"This is the absolute worst insurance I have ever had in 52 years! They do not want to pay any claims, have denied me the ability to use prescriptions I have used for years, claiming their doctors don't think I need them...one is for BLOOD CLOTS! I have a history of blood clots and they won't allow me to have a 14 day supply for after surgery when it is critical. They could not possibly care less about their customers. RUN from this company! do not use them if you have any other options!"
