"If you are struggling with traumas that you feel like you will never get over, Leslie Davis can help you. She introduced EMDR early on into our sessions and it works! Once you finish with EMDR you are left feeling 100% better and it lasts. I thought I would feel better for a week or two then go back to feeling the same way I was. That's not what happens at all. You are going to feel better for the rest of your life. I highly recommend Leslie, she will change your life!"
"If you are someone looking for help with anxiety, depression, or past trauma, EMDR with Leslie Davis will change your life. I have been in and out of various forms therapy for literally decades and was not able to find peace--or even much improvement. Within a few sessions with Leslie, I was able to see significant changes, and I feel better than I ever have. Leslie is perceptive and kind and whip smart, and she will instill in you a confidence about your ability to heal and change that you did not previously think was possible. Leslie believes in this process with all her heart, and she has described EMDR to me as "a bit of an art form." If that is the case, which I believe it is, Leslie is Leonardo da Vinci. She is an excellent listener, and she will help you figure out what needs to be worked on in your life and finesse things to figure out the order in which you should work for optimal progress. She is incredibly open-minded, respectful, and understanding (and insightful!) about all kinds of relationships (including LGBTQIA+). On top of that, she is always on time, cuts to the chase when she knows she can fix things, and will remind you via text of your appointment--three things I, as a neurodivergent person, really appreciate. If you are considering EMDR, Leslie is the person to see. She will change your life."
"I can’t even begin to describe how helpful, how beneficial and life changing, therapy with Leslie Davis has been for me! Her expertise in providing incredibly effective EMDR has blown me away. She is helping me navigate and move beyond a massive amount of trauma in my life. As hard as it is to walk through my painful wilderness, I actually look forward to our sessions. It’s like being guided by a hand made of pure light. When my mind starts to spin in deep darkness, she knows exactly how to guide me back into the path for healing. She listens with an empathic, loving heart that is also full of wisdom and life changing advice. She cares deeply, that much is obvious to me. Being under her care is helping me become the healthy woman I’ve always wanted to be but thought unattainable. She is simply amazing and highly recommend her services! From the bottom of my heart, thank you a billion times Leslie!"
"While the practice purports itself to be open minded and patient-focused, I went to Leslie as often as I could for almost a year only to be told that I should reconsider the gospel.. Additionally, my counselor could never remember what we were talking about so she never felt comfortable starting EMDR even though that was the whole reason I was there. Eventually, she told me she felt bad taking my money because she wasn’t helping me. Wish I would have been told that before I wasted so much time and money. I know that finding the right therapist is trial and error for most people, but this was a particularly bad experience. I opened up about religious trauma with my mother and she immediately got defensive and started talking about herself and how I had the wrong perspective instead of actually helping. She also tried to discourage me from pursuing a counseling license myself because she had such a bad time getting hers..."
