"Today, I was displeased. I was having very bad chest pains, shortness of breath, tightness, and palpitations. Signed in at 440pm. They did an EKG and sent me back to the waiting room. Took me back for blood work and put in am IV sent me back to the waiting room. Did a chest x-ray. Sent me back to the waiting room. Took more blood and sent me back to the waiting room. I sat there from 440pm-1120pm without being seen by one single doctor and was told 6 people were ahead of me, but people were coming and going. Had to leave and go elsewhere to be treated. No communication is imprisonment. Running all of these tests without rooming patients to make sure you get paid something. Was never seen, but they got paid for the EKG, blood work, and x-ray. Making money off of patients they don't see or treat. The facilities were nasty. Blood on the floor probably from all the IVs they were handing out amd shipping all of us back to the waiting room. The chairs are filthy. The janitor changed only the garbage bags and ran a dust mop in the filthy bathroom. Benadryl were all over the floor. A man kept drinking out of the facet that was coughing up a lung the entire time. Bodily fluids everywhere. The worst experience in a hospital Emergency Room."

"Worst experience ever. I went in because working in the medical field for over 20 years, I broke my neck and have three ruptured disc, three of my disc in my lumbar region are herniated and could rupture any time. I went in with a severe headache, and my bones in my whole body were aching. I had my blood work done. and after five hours I saw the doctor he would not do a scan of my vertebrae‘s, which were in extreme pain.. He wanted to put an IV bag in me. I asked the nurse if my blood work showed any dehydration. and it did not. I ask him again if my head was hurting that bad I could have an aneurysm it’s in my lineage. I had just been diagnosed with Hapo thyroid ism, but it takes three weeks to get in your system and it causes insomnia. I haven’t slept in three nights he would not prescribe me anything to sleep. If I did prescribe me nothing wanted to give me something I didn’t need and they try to push the Covid vaccine on me. I said I thought it off with no music system and I won’t get it again. He stated he had had it three times I asked him did he get the Covid shot? He said yes I have never met a doctor so dumb. Covid vaccine on me. I will be reporting this to the HR and when I left, I stated if any thing happens to me because he did not treat me with no none of my request you can only go so long without sleep. please save your self five hours and go somewhere else that they may treat your conditions and I worked there for 5 like he would have sympathy, breaking my back, lifting, patients, being a nurse for all those years!!! or any empathy period!!!"

"86 year old with covid goes to Memorial ER with covid...Hospice said for us to take her...Dr. asked...why are you here..yes she has covid..told him Hospice said to go...Dr. said..Nothing we can do...take her home and ride it out...no fluids or anything...4 hours later we are still waiting on an ambulance to take her home...have not been offered any fluids or any support...she has been here 7 hours without any treatment or care...just a few test.."

"I was there for 25 days. The facility was cleaned daily. The medical staff from doctors, nurses, nurses aides were top notch. They truly took great care of me. I would nit be able to do this review without the life saving measures they took to help me get better. I'm truly indebted to the staff at CHI Memorial."

"ER was quick getting me on oxygen I was admitted with acute respiratory failure I spent 2 nights on the 7th floor All was good....until i had to go to ICU...cardo vascular unit They don't know how to take care of medical patients. I went 6 days without a bm. I kept asking for my home meds No one wanted to help. I ended up with an impaction, and still could get no help Now i can't urinate.,i have over 600 ml in my bladder which is VERY uncomfortable But the nurse is waiting for the doctor Im a retired nurse. Priority is get the patient comfortable I had a nurse Inamed caroline who seemed to be more interested in looking at her phone I was in excruciating pain for 12 hours.the pharmacy didn't have any magnesium citrate, so my husband had to go to store to get it The tech on 2nd floor refused to give me a bath. I was on bedrest, but i finally gave my own bath The person who wouldn't help me is catlin These 2 poor experiences are why i gave a 3 star rating Everything and everyone else were VERY good"
